inkman Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 (edited) I really can’t do any more Sabres. Just endless conjecture that none of us can fix. So let’s start with what are some foods that everyone enjoys that you find incredulous that anyone can even be in the same room with them? Mine is cooked mushrooms. I can deal with uncooked mushrooms in a salad but cooked mushrooms on pizza? On a burger? In pasta sauce? I don’t understand the attraction. They are like dead slugs in your mouth. Nasty. LabattBlue Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 Olives, mayo/miracle whip, cold soups, I am sure there are others… 🤮🤮🤮 Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 I have been dealing with severe nose bleeds for about 2 months now. 30+ years after my nose was cauterized for the same issue. My wife is telling me they are probably going to make me eat liver to build up my iron and other stuff after the blood letting stops. Allah help me ... 1 1 Quote
Stoner Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 I would have posted split pea soup but recently I tried it and it was very tasty. An odd one for me is avocado. I used to love them plain with some salt and pepper. Then somehow I got queasy after eating one and now that's it. I can't look at one. Will do guac tho. 1 Quote
DarthEbriate Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 (edited) Peanut butter is good. Bread is good. Put them together? Nope. It's a roof-of-mouth clinginess issue. It's a Sabres team where the sum is less than the parts. Edited January 5 by DarthEbriate Quote

JoeSchmoe Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 While the flavour can be good at times, the texture of coconut can ruin an otherwise delicious dessert. The same goes for rum. With some coke or in a tropical drink it can be tasty, but why put it in a dessert?!?! Ruined. Quote

I had split pea soup (yes the Campbells condensed variety) once a week growing up up. Loved it. Haven’t had it in years tho. It’s funny how life comes full circle, Campbell’s is now the largest customer we have at work. 1 Quote
Indabuff Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 Anything with coconut. I'd say tripe but it's not enjoyed by many. Was popular with my family's older generation. 1 Quote
Stoner Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 Oh! V8 juice. Would be a pretty easy way to get your veggies. But... hoo boy. Blood that's starting to coagulate is what I see. Then there's this weird note of something on the palate. Quote

Weave Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 (edited) Cooked cabbage. I don’t mind slaw and other raw cabbage uses, but I just don’t like cooked cabbage at all. On a related note, brussel sprouts. Edited January 5 by Weave Quote
pastajoe Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 Hard boiled eggs, macaroni and cheese, blue cheese, potato salad, cottage cheese. 🤢 1 1 Quote

On a related note, brussel sprouts. Yeah big brussel tried pushing them on everyone a decade or so ago. I absolutely loathed them growing up but I was curious as to why they were gaining popularity. I listen to how they are getting prepped. Cover with cheese, garlic, bacon, brown sugar, butter and whatever other nonsense. I’m sure those brussel sprouts are delicious. As would a shoe covered in all that stuff. 1 Quote

French Collection Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 My parents and my wife just love onions. I am not fussy and can eat just about anything but large pieces of uncooked onions cause me to pick at my food. Quote
