Porous Five Hole Posted Sunday at 03:30 AM Report Posted Sunday at 03:30 AM Jeeeeez Byram was in no man’s land and NAK was asleep as the help. I know the Knights are good, but this is embarrassing. 1 Quote

Carmel Corn Posted Sunday at 03:31 AM Report Posted Sunday at 03:31 AM I'm not a Jokiharju fan, but seriously....can he be any worse than some of our other guys playing defense lately? Quote

Carmel Corn Posted Sunday at 03:32 AM Report Posted Sunday at 03:32 AM Buffalo looks like the keystone cops trying to get out of their own zone Quote
Dreams Burn Down Posted Sunday at 03:33 AM Report Posted Sunday at 03:33 AM The Sabres look so consistently out of synch with each other. Such a low hockey IQ. Quote
Nitro60 Posted Sunday at 03:33 AM Report Posted Sunday at 03:33 AM Disjointed play and lack of effort on some players. This is not going to be a pleasant trip home. Quote

mjd1001 Posted Sunday at 03:34 AM Report Posted Sunday at 03:34 AM (edited) On that first goal, I have never seen Dahlin do anything like it. He's one of the 2 d-men going back, he appears to be aware of the situation. He leaves his side of the ice, seemingly KNOWINGLY leaves his man free to skate right in front of the net, leaving him wide open while having zero chance of getting to the puck near the blue line. Again, never seen him do anything like that and it was a total 100% lack of awareness on the ice. Its worse than that, its not a lack of awareness, he was trailing the play and saw his guy, and he also saw there was no one else back in his end. Maybe MAYBE him and Byram were trying to switch sides, but you don't switch sides while leaving someone uncovered. It might be the most puzzling goal allowed I have seen this year. Pimlach Posted Sunday at 03:35 AM Report Posted Sunday at 03:35 AM They are back to the way they started the season. Like they don’t know each other or what to do. 1 Quote

Gatorman0519 Posted Sunday at 03:36 AM Report Posted Sunday at 03:36 AM This is crazy how consistently inept this team is. Never seen anything like it. Quote

mjd1001 Posted Sunday at 03:37 AM Report Posted Sunday at 03:37 AM (edited) On the 2nd goal I watched the replay from both angles. Dahlin and Byram look like they are playing keystone kops out there. They have no sense of where each other are. Its like they are playing with each other for the very first time without a practice. Not quite as bad as the first goal, but not far behind. I cannot explain their positioning or play at all on either goal. On both goals, probably the most confused I have seen 2 Sabres D-men play all year, same two guys. It's a good thing that Pegula and GMKA wanted him back on the coaching staff this season. 1 Quote

I’ll have to watch it again, but I felt like he tried to take away the play of the odd man rush by peeling off. It almost worked. The trailer was the one who scored, and that was JJP’s man. He didn’t even try. He appeared to be in a glide and did not play the stick or the body. It was infuriating. Quote
