I'm of the opinion still that they don't need to reset everything. A few strategic changes in the roster, maybe the front office, a change or two to the coaching staff.

The issue is, they REFUSE to do even that. This team needs SOMETHING, and the owner makes a special trip to tell the team "no changes".

You can't fix things, you can't change things, if you do NOTHING.

This one is really hard to watch because you can just see they can basically generate zero offense at all. Vegas isn't even breaking a sweat.

It really is striking how far this team is from good. This franchise has zero leadership or accountibility. And it starts with the owner.

Has Ruff ever tried going back to the line combos we started with at the beginning of the season? Even though our "2nd" line sucked, we were most effective overall as a team with that lineup.

Hanafin, Peitrangelo, McNabb, Theodore are the Vegas top 4 defenders.  All are big, strong, smart, veterans 

We really need a few of these types to help Dahlin or Power/Byram.  

 l still  don’t get the Byram trade, even though he looks better than Power lately.

We need to use the young assets while they still have trade value. Prospects and guys on the team now. 

My plan is to go all veteran essentially and put together the best team with no trade clauses. The primary goal is the curse breaker. 7/8 spot. Then strategically rebuild by replacing certain veterans with young talent. Benson is the only one that stays through this that’s south of 30. 

This is an exorcism situation that requires experienced men with the grit to get it done. There will be no successful development of young players until the curse is broken.

If the Sabres were even a decent team, Zucker's production as of late would probably be a nice story worthy of discussing around the league.

A 30+ year old Journeyman who has only scored 80 or so goals in the past 8 years of his career, is not 2nd on his team in scoring and on pace for a 30 goal season.

But with this team, whatever!

No, you can’t go all veteran or all prospects.  BALANCE is needed.  There is no magic formula, it depends on the players.

The coaching isn’t working. Lindy was saddled with a bunch of people who had already failed at their positions with this team. His boss set him up to fail. The type of boss nobody deserves.
