This is a perfect example.  I was just texting with some friends and family that Zucker is the first vet I can remember that genuinely looks like he enjoys playing here and wanting to be a part of change.

You started it and I'm going to give it back.  You've insulted me multiple times over the last couple months and I'm not having it without replying.  You bullies had your time on here for too long, unchallenged.

I don't know.  My fear is we are going to have to wait for more development and more young players.  I suppose there's the possibility it goes from zero to hero sooner than later because I do think we have talent.  I don't think it's spending on FA.  I just don't believe that's a possible path.

Maybe, we won’t know unless he doesn’t get traded. If he doesn’t resign with the Sabres then we know really what he was thinking.

he could also be working hard  to show other teams what he can give and maybe get traded to a winning team. Professional athletes didn’t work hard their whole life to be part of a solution, they want to win.

I'm glad you posted this because, while silly, it is an example of the hypocrisy. 

Swamp could have very easily, said 7+6 hasn't engaged Pimlach in this thread and he posts a gif of a door slamming in someone's face.  I'm going to call Pimlach out.  That's not nice, isn't criticizing a post and is probably why he's saying he knows people that don't want to come to SS.

But he doesn't, so his critique of me is hypocritical and rejected.

The ending of this game does deserve to be remarked upon: it's well established that a team defending an empty net will be allowed to do almost anything and the refs will swallow their whistles. In all my years of watching hockey I can't recall ever seeing a team ATTACKING an empty net allowed to do whatever the hell they wanted with the ref swallowing the whistle until last night. That was insane.

But see, isn't that how true NHL pros are supposed to play the game? They don't necessarily need to smile much, but they do need to be energized and desperate to succeed on every shift, which then often leads to getting fired up when all that relentlessness directly pays off. They need to passionately sell out for one another every shift, every game. 

The Sabres don't always look like they're all playing with that edge, to say the least.
