Perhaps during the doom and gloom, depression and angst of the losing streak something amazing happened. A quiet revolution from below. Call them what you want, the "New Kids on the Block" or "Young Guns" or whatever, but it looks like, perhaps, we are seeing the emergence, or reemergence depending on your perspective, of a new your core.

The last five games have seen our young core begin to shape games.

Quinn: 4g 2a

Cozens: 2g 4a

Benson: 2g

JJP: 2g 4a

Juri Kulich: 2g 2a

I care. I don't watch the Bills. I'm going out though so I will see it in replay.

Much tougher game than Chicago.

I'm probably watching both back and forth, but unless the Sabres are down 4 or 5 or more, I'm watching more of the Sabres.

I used to be a bigger Bills fan. Had season tickets for over a decade at one point, but football and the NFL for me, I just don't care as much.  The more something gets overhyped, the more I can't get away from it, the more discussions/arguments between fan bases (like the Allen vs Jackson for MVP thing that I am trying to avoid), the more they push overhyped halftime shows, the more bandwagon fans that appear and just say 'dumb things'....it just turns me off of football.

Hockey, the Sabres, its a more comfortable sport for me to watch and follow.

Or... the islanders and Blackhawks are bad hockey teams.

I will be watching Bills. I don’t let Sabres interrupt football.  I will record the hockey game and watch it later.

Rumor in St Louis is they are interested in getting ROR back.

And then they will disappear for weeks. I get it, they’re young and things will get more consistent but how long do we need to wait for that consistency. Especially if they keep being the youngest team in the league.

honestly I don’t see the Sabres winning.  We’ll see what team shows up in St. Louis. 🤷‍♂️

At a minimum because in that time they will bring in more young players to fill holes after others leave.

I’ll be at a Bills Backer bar to watch the game. I’ll stream the Sabres game in my phone.

I've never figured out if the Canucks or the Blues are the Sabres' NHL cousins.

The Canucks would be an expansion sibling.

The Blues are first cousins, by color scheme, once removed (1967 expansion generation).

The old barn, the iconic theme song, industrial city... I always felt this odd kinship with the Blues.

Going for 3 in a row.  Bills playing, so nobody really cares.  But ...

Triumph at, arguably, the height of their musical prowess.  What a legendary band.

I'll be flipping back and forth between the Bills and Sabres because that's how I roll.

I always thought of the Blues as first cousins because of Ed "Polish Prince" Staniowski.

Agreed. We're in the same boat, brother. Go Bills! Go Sabres!

Is 3 in a row even legal?

Not in New York state...
