Why? Why wouldn't you...or anyone for that matter...take him at his word when he bought the team? Now? Sure, it's fine to be angry. Anyone who believes anything out of his mouth at this point regarding this moribund franchise is either tone deaf, obtuse, or both. He has lost all trust of the majority of this fan base and for good reason. He is a snake oil salesman.

And he didn't have to be. That's why I'm pissed at myself. He came with no baggage (like apparently Rigas & Golisano) very wealthy, got emotional standing next to The French Connection. I felt good about being a fan again. I felt he was "the guy" that could maybe take this club to the promised land. Now he won't meet with the media, doesn't go to the games. It truly didn't have to go this way. That sums up my frustration. A part of me actually feels sorry for Kevyn Adams. Even if he wants to make a deal, I believe there are so many vets out there with Buffalo now on their no movement list, he can only do so much. We need some vets for the young guys. I really believe that.Β

Anyone else find it slightly odd that Tuch embraces the goalie last after a win it looks like every time?Β

Seems like captain behavior, but Dahlin doesn’t seem to push to make sure he’s the guy doing that. I’m assuming Dahlin is more of the lead by example, quiet leader.Β

Ultimately I think Benson will be captain of this team.Β  As a second year guy he already brings it.

Will they ever lose again?😁

I’ve noticed it’s a lot more fun when they win then when they lose😜

I liked Kulich’s game a lot and Quinn is looking like the player we thought he was going to be. Quinn and Cozens snapping out of that god awful malaise they were in would be really nice.

Glad you see it as half filled because I had you pegged as a half empty kind of guy,Β

You're not wrong there when it comes to this team. 13 seasons (perhaps 14?) is way way too long.Β

Quite honestly I was thinking Tuch would get the C. I understand why Dahlin has it but Tuch seems the more obvious leader maybe Dahlin grows into it i think he tries I think Tuch is more natural

Exactly how I view it

Tell me about it. Been season ticket holders for decades and we have an absolute right to feel negative about this team given the absolute crap we’ve witnessed for 13 going on 14 years. And I make no apologies for that either.Β

Yeah, again...the anger should not be inward. It's Pegs who should be squarely in the crosshairs.

Quinn starting to regain his form...6 points in the last 5 games including 4 goals and several patented Quinn laser snipes.

Not surprisingly, so is Cousins as they seem to regaining the "kid line" form that made them our best line many nightsΒ

That’s exactly what I was thinking.Β

patiently waiting for the extended highlights package to drop on youtube ...Β πŸ•’

Here's something while you wait...in their last two games, the Sabres scored more goals than the combined points scored by the Seahawks and Bears on Thursday night.Β πŸ˜‚

I texted my Bears-fan buddy before the game if we wanted to take the over or under on the 'Hawks outscoring the Bears πŸ˜„Β

I got to see the 5-min NHL.com package ... and I gotta say - I resented the ESPN guys for the "uh-oh here we go again" tone they took after the Hawks made it 4-2. Glad Tuchy shut them up. Hard. Fight, boys! Fight!

It's just for the life of me, I can't understand why? I think the damage he has now done to the Sabres is actually going to take a really long time to expel. Why wouldn't you want to be the super successful owner of 2 sport franchises? It boggles my mind.

We're diehard fans. He's a diehard bottom-liner.

And the most frustrating? Pegula could have been a God in this town. I mean, if the Bills can grab a Super Bowl under his watch, he may still be, but with his cash, he could have made it happen for the Sabres also. He has seriously damaged that organization.

He must believe in duality or something.Β

It's fun to win, just wish they'd do it more often.Β

Lots of players doing little things better. Samuelsson back to blocking shots and playing D like he did 2 years ago. That's encouraging.Β

The Foligno Kulich incident showed they are still way too soft and that will bite them no matter how well this core develops but that's a down the road issue. Core has to get good enough first and that's uncertain.Β

Still, winning is fun and you can see the fan base will flock back if this team actually ever starts to get good. They are out there.Β

Sure, it was Chicago, and they are crap, but again, doesn't matter. Winning is fun.Β

He’s done a lot of things right with the Bills, but I do feel like his Sabres ineptitude is potential proof that he got more lucky than anything w McBeane. I think I lean toward that personally. He got the right guys right away. Maybe it gave him a false sense of his ability to sniff out winners in the sports world. I think he’s honestly embarrassed and deals with it by disappearing into other things that bring him more happiness.Β

Like Josh Allen. That guy brings happiness to the world! (Except ravens fans)

Exactly, build a competitive hockey club and the building will fill again (with the majority being Sabres fans!) the place will be electric, your kids will fall in love with this team. The atmosphere will be addictive and best of all, players will definitely want to be a part of it. It's all good!!! Just like it used to be!

Hopefully he gets some real hockey people in to run the club. That would certainly get my respect that he's looking to right the ship. I actually believe Kevyn's hands are tied now with the no movement clauses for a lot of vets. Very hard to get what your club needs when you have the pieces to deal but you can't get the return.Β
