Rasmus_ Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago For the asset requirement, and the term he's a no. He has to get his head back on straight and start to push forward. He's always been an introverted player based on his lockerroom quiet by example leadership style. The entire thing with Miller, the trade talk and the imbalance, has him spooked out of his game. I'd stay away from him as adding him to this group isn't going to be what we need. Hard pass. Quote
Crusader1969 Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Are we getting to the point that Petterson for Cozens straight up may not be a clear win for the Sabres ? Especially in 2 years or so I do believe that EP was injured last offseason and couldn't train for the season. Though it was a knee injury, nothing to do with the heart Quote

Though it was a knee injury, nothing to do with the heart Vancouver are in an interesting place because his no trade kicks in this summer and then they are in real trouble trying to move him if this play continues. If he has another bad year then moving $11.6 when he can axe any deal will make it impossible to move him. Do they try to move him now and just take whatever return they can to move on from him or keep him and pray he returns to form after the no trade kicks in. Quote

Since the calendar flipped to 2025, he has played in 17 games and has 1 single goal. That goal was against Buffalo where he was set up about 10 feet away and had all day to pick his spot to shoot while UPL was down on the ice after scrambling around. There is something up with his game. I like Pettersson, I think he has so much talent but how could his scoring drop off so badly? Quote

The metrics show his speed has completely disappeared from previous years, and he’s for some reason stopped shooting the puck. And he’s a suck. Make no mistake, if the Canucks magically found a way to get rid of him and his salary there would be dancing in the streets here. Quote
