Definitely not.  How a top 4 RHD ?  That should have been the priority.   Sure if a club is dumb enough to trade away a #1 center, you have to go for it.  Zegras is not a #1 Center

I wish I could find where I read it.  Damned insomnia.  Apparently the door may not be closed on Petterson?  Canucks to evaluate whether they have made enough change to get where they want to go.

I’d guess it would be a post season move/decision at this point.

I read somewhere that if they traded both they would be completely rebuilding and also will trade hughes.

The follow-up trade last night for Marcus Pettersson, seems to signal the Canucks are planning to stick it out through this season. M. Pettersson is a significant upgrade to Desharnais. 

If Elias Pettersson is now dealt, I think it will happen in the off-season when there will be far more teams with the cap space to make such a trade.

I was just thinking wouldn’t it be peak Adams if he pulled off a trade for Elias Petterson for Cozens and Byram but he never read the fine print and the Canucks send him Elias Petterson their young dman instead.😛
