Kulich is the only one out of the listed players that can.

Benson would have to return to the WHL as he is still too young for the AHL and hasn’t played enough WHL games for an exemption

Quinn and Peterka are no longer waiver exempt

I don't think Peterka and Quinn would be waiver eligible anyways. Also, that would mean they had played 3 seasons in Rochester. How's that helping them?

lol - i don't know. I'm mad at how the team has progressed so I angrily assume that everything GMKA has done is wrong 🙂

They’re both on ELC deals still. So they would be waiver exempt if they hadn’t hit their games played cutoff already.

There are other options, You could put Bryson, Gilbert, Aube-Kubel or Malenstyn on waivers and if they clear go to Rochester. If they get taken you just go find someone else.

Those guys represent the small group who put out. KA would probably look at them as expendable.

Problem is we rush these kids, don't develop them properly at the AHL level, and when they have played too many NHL games they are no longer waiver exempt. I believe it's 160 games played in the NHL or 5 years as the cut off point for exemption.

So I think Quinn can still be sent down but I might be wrong. (maybe IR time counts idk)
