Since we're so F*king terrible again, and we can't ask/get a competent hockey team; I figure I'd change it up a little and change gears.

Is there anything you're expecting from Christmas, or anything you've been eyeing up this year?

If you could receive 1 thing, what would it be?

Happy Holidays

Go Bills!

Has anyone else found this to be true? My wife and I make a comfortable living, we have no kids and two beautiful kitties. We are not fancy folks and we generally buy what we want for ourselves when we want it. I find it hard to make a good list for family for birthdays and Christmas.

That said, I'd take the Bills getting the #1 seed in the AFC 🙂

100% agree.

My wife is always asking me what I want.

But I don't want much, and when I DO think of something I want...I am a stickler for watching the price on it, knowing what it costs, what the sales prices are in recent history, and only buying it when there is some kind of sale or promotion...and then I buy it for myself.

On the RARE occasion my wife insists I give her a list, I usually will tell her something but I say "Only if it is at a certain price, if its any higher, forget it"

But that goes back to your first point:  If I REALLY want something, its probably more of a 'need' than a 'want', so I get it myself.  There is nothing that I just 'kinda want', that if someone buys it for me, it feels like a waste of money.

I'm totally on the same page. If I needed it I would have it already. If I wanted it enough I would have it already. If it was a pipe dream then there's no way someone else should buy it for me.

I don't know a lot of people with significant extra money lying around so I don't want people who work to make a living to buy me things.  I don't have it so the idea of buying something just because it's Christmas is strange.

Now, if someone makes something and gives it to me, that's another story.  I'm making some hot sauces and some bitters to give away as gifts to a few people.

I want my family and friends to be happy, to find joy in their lives. The wife and I are in our 50's now, I've been pulling 12 hr shifts a lot this year. I had a window this past Sunday and Monday to some after work shopping. I spent 700 bucks on our 2 Goldens. The joy of watching them on Xmas morning is more than enough for me.

As for the wife, she's been a life long Bills fanatic, me and the oldest daughter are the Sabres fanatics, but all of us in the house love both teams. So this Xmas, I went with 100% Bills apparel, the wife has more gifts than all the kids combined lol. I hope she enjoys, because I whole heartedly believe this is the year the Super Bowl belongs to the Bills.

Happy Holidays to all. Go Sabres and Go Bills.

Honestly my daughter is expecting and what I want for the holidays is for my grandchild to be born healthy and without complications to mother or child.

I Bills Super Bowl would be nice as would another GA Natty.
