Just listened to this quick clip and truer words have never been spoken

" Terry is the *****in' problem of this whole thing" Craig Rivet

should be on billboards across the city

I'd want Pegula out as owner as much as anyone, but Only if he sold to someone local who really really wanted to keep the team in western NY.

If that isn't a guarantee, I'll put up with his bad ownership.  Better to have a team here, to hope to eventually get lucky and good, to have 40+ times a year NHL hockey played that we can attend in person (even if that is the 'other team'), than risk them moving.

The fear of change. The fear of having expectations because you might fail.

We can’t change the owner. The owner won’t change. It just can’t happen. Firing the GM is pointless, it won’t happen. Quickest pathway to achieving your dreams is to just torpedo your belief in the dreams themselves

Aim lower and expect less. Be happy, and keep your head down

That's how you get and maintain power. You lay the people low and take their hope away. Paradoxically then you are the only hope and only you can fix it.

and the “hope” that tomorrow’s sun promises never seems to properly arrive. It’s always seemingly just out of reach. But we know it exists, we can SEE the potential! It’s just out of reach! But maybe one day.

I don't agree with this at all

I've already stopped watching them (first time in 50 years ). My care about winning and losing is as extremely low.  I'm almost on the side of hoping they lose ( nothing to do with draft picks).

Sure but I'll add sell to someone who promises to keep the team in Buffalo

More hyperbole.

Forcing the owner to sell and firing the GM aren’t even in the same universe. The current owner is on his fourth GM already.

It will do nothing but I signed it and forwarded it etc. anyway. It won't hurt.

I agree.  BUT we all can't just throw our hands up and say we give up

if someone organized a "sell the team" fan protest outside the arena . I would actually show up

I wouldn't sign that. Buffalo would be in jeopardy of having the team relocated.

I honestly don't think that's much worse than the current situation

don't let fear cause you to settle for this garbage
I'm gonna guess that there might be a few more willing to sign after watching  tomorrow nights game.   Terry Pegula's rink will be filled 90% by opposition fans  and the Sabres hit loss #12.

That's gotta be a call to action.

SELL THE TEAM.

I'm not boycotting the Sabres, I also realize that this petition will not move the needle, but I still signed it.  TP is the common denominator throughout this mess.  Personally, by selling the team, could a new owner move the franchise?  Of course they could.  I'm finally ready to take that chance.  Even if it means losing the Sabres, my favorite team since I can remember following sport.

I scrolled by some sort of event in January where management will take fan questions. I can't find it now though but is that a real thing? I think it was Jan 13 and they were selling tickets to it (?)

If that's a real event all you local people have to go and picket outside if you don't want to pay to go in. Make a noise in their faces. maybe wear buffalo heads.
