mjd1001 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Its a long video, but they touch on things from the Eichel deal all the way through today in detail....much of it is what we all talk about, but I thought it was interesting to hear from some guys outside of Buffalo.... I found the part from 5:30 on the most interesting. Touches on how the league still thinks some guys are worth more around the league than they probably are actually worth, and now would be the time to trade them. Also all of the guys seem to think Lindy was a Terry Pegula hire, not an Adams hire. "Lindy and Terry" are buddies was said over and over and they think Lindy was hired all along to take over as GM for Adams. Speculate that Lindy was hired to 'right the ship' but the reason he was only brought on for 2 years as a coach was his intention all along was to be moved upstairs. mjd1001 Posted 2 hours ago Author Report Posted 2 hours ago Sorry, just saw this was posted in another thread, merge or delete as you must. The title of the thread being about Rhett Warrener threw me a bit. Quote
Pimlach Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Complete $hit Show. @Stoner, OK Buddy, I heard what Rhett said. This video hurts. Quote
HumanSlinky39 Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago We're a farm team for other NHL teams' future stars. Guys cut their teeth here developing some skills and learning how NOT to play, then go onto other organizations and are taught how TO play. Look around the NHL at how many former Sabres are now solid contributors if not stars. Then look how many have hoisted the Stanley Cup over the past few seasons. It's eye opening and depressing as hell. 1 1 Quote

I just cannot stomach the utter ineptitude of the current regime doing anything with our assets... I know we cant worry about what players become... but who has the current regime traded for that has improved our team in some meaningful way... Quote
Flashsabre Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Can Gary Bettman step in and tell Terry, “We are assigning Ken Holland to run the team and make all hockey related decisions. This mess has to be cleaned up.” Quote

JohnC Posted 41 minutes ago Report Posted 41 minutes ago When the owner is obtuse it shouldn't be a surprise that the organization is obtuse. Basic logic. At least we can take pride in claiming to be the most consistent franchise over the past generation. Quote
