I'm seriously beginning doubt Lindy makes it through the season. He's a good coach with 24 years of experience as a bench boss. There's no ***** way he buys that line of ***** about "the answers are in this room." He has to be seriously regretting taking this job and I wonder how much longer he lasts before he says "***** it" and resigns. I wouldn't blame him at all.

I have to say I’m pretty surprised to see this thread at 25 pages.    Before I even read anything, this shows me people still care, even if it’s only to talk about how the Sabres suck.

I subscribe to ESPN+ to get the UB football and basketball games, as well as Sabres games, but I’ve lost interest in watching the Sabres.

Well, I think the stew was simmering since yesterday with the Pegula nonsense. Then you follow it up with a performance like that? And they cancelled practice yesterday??? There is malpractice going on at every management level of this team. This is a ton of frustration being released into the atmosphere. I care. As bad as this ***** franchise has been for a decade and a half, I still care. I've loved this team for 30+ years and they've been shitting on me (and all of us) for 14 uninterrupted seasons. I'm fed up and I'm pissed that they seem to be just fine with yet another season being a smear of human excrement.

Truthfully I’d rather watch womens olympic hockey. Yes, its that bad.

Benson is the only one that can stay.

Oh they will be safely there early in the new year if not sooner and I’d imagine will stay there throughout.

Bottom of the east is bad enough. 

A few weeks ago it was all about how close everything was and we were just a point or two behind Boston. Now we're 11 points behind them just like that.

This is beyond brutal. He has to sell.  There's really no other way out. Nobody in this organization can make a difference. Talented yes, low IQ, obviously.  The team shouldn't be this bad. It really is mental. They have no idea how to get out of it. That's a internal issue. I have no faith they'll suddenly get it. Foundational issues don't change.  It has to start from the top. Sadly, it won't

Levi goes to Amerks who were losing and they are winners. Same last year. Leave him there till some trades for UPL. Of course that will be 4 years from now and we will be heading to 17 years losing and UPL will be a freeagent! Adams will be on a 10 year resigned contract.

Problem is We needed a Vet to Lead these guys, Skinner wasn't it. Too many players came up from Amerks that weren't ready. ready is too very solid years scoring at the Top of your team and a Two way Player. Can't play two ways you don't belong in the NHL

 

Adams did this, we won't get rid of anyone, no path to bring up Amerks ready next year. Sabres are losers anyway. Need to stay as Amerks who win.

 

ADAMS MUST START getting assest Vets with short term contracts and give up his precious Children. Honestly, some of those Amerks will be better than 5 of your Top 6.

Tuch to me is the only one worth keeping (Not considering Benson Top 6, playing there because Quinn failed).

Age and size could help and he needs a stay at home RH defenseman that is 27-32 years old and a good teacher.

 

These guys are all young, Power 22. If you want to trade fine, better get back what a 1st overall player is worth.

 

I have no BLAME on Power. This Team would have destroyed Gretsky. One of the Top scoring defenseman out there. We do NOT need 4-5 of these though.

The city is cursed people. Adams should have never given out some of the contracts especially to Power who plays with no fire. He is way too soft for a guy his size. Pegula has dished out the money but the problem lies with the GM in what players he has given them to. Making Dahlin the captain was the wrong move as I don’t see him as the vocal leader of this team. Trust me no players want to go to Buffalo. It’s been like that since I can remember. 
Now onto the Bills. As good as the Bills are playing the defense is going to hold them back from winning the playoff games. If it wasn’t for Allen the team would be ***** to, don’t kid yourself.

Ruff has told us these guys are not doing what he is asking and has said it is his job to change that. Well us fans know you can't change these guys. Watched for 3 years.

 

Seriously, keep Tage and Tuch and that is it on the Top 6. Tage would be 2nd line Center and Tuch stays on Top Line.

 

So if you don't trade, you need a center for Top Line and a Winger, need Two wingers for 2nd line.

 

Use McLeod for Top Center, Tuch, Zucker 

2nd Line would be Greenway Tage Rousek

3rd line  Benson Kulich Peterka

4th line Malenstein Krebs Cozens/Aube

 

Quinn and Aube sit

 

Have to try to get rid of Quinn and Cozens. If Peterka doesn't get better than trade him before no one wants him.

 

Too many Amerk players that deserve shots and maybe 1-2 pickups.

Seeing Tuch play in Vegas for years left you wanting more from him. It’s not gonna happen. He’s a second or third liner at best. He has the speed when he wants to turn it on but he lacks the finish. He used to stand in front of the net to tip shots when he was here and then it turned into not going to the net as much. He needs to play nasty but it’s never gonna happen.

Another problem this team has is way too many puck moving defenseman and no stay at home defenders. Dahlin getting named captain is a joke and I don’t know how much losing this guy can take before he wants out. 
 

Unfortunately I have to agree with Adams that Buffalo isn’t a desirable destination that players want to go to. Just look back to Emerson Etem’s comment years ago about the city. But Adams issue is he needed to trade for some Veterans with some term left in their contract who have leadership qualities to help these kids. 
 

Then look at the coaching staff, you bring back Lindy who was just fired from the Devils and you surround him with inexperienced assistant coaches. What a joke.
