The worst thing would be if Adams if fired, and a promotion happens from within and you still have the same group of people making decisions for this franchise, with just a new name on the GM door and a different face/voice saying the same thing in front of the microphone. You’re speculating. Which is fine. But there is no reason to assume that Karmanos would continue on with status quo. Just because Karmanos is working to help Adams fulfill his vision, doesn’t mean he has no ideas on how to do things differently. 1 1 Quote

mjd1001 Posted Wednesday at 02:07 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 02:07 AM 2 years ago a lot of people on this forum were sky-high on Power, I thought it was a premature opinion, I thought he didn't play all that well his rookie year. Last year people started turning negative on him, but I thought his play actually got better last year and I was encouraged. This year..I have NO IDEA. I don't know if he is good. Or bad. Or bad but has the potential to be good. Or going through a rough spot. Or looks worse than he is because he is covering up others mistakes. Or he isn't trying that hard because he doesn't want to be here. With Power, I have NO idea anymore. Quote

Do they practice? I mean actually practice hockey? Apparently not. They took yesterday off. There is a video, they were at the rink, with their equipment, look to Bobdressed in warm ups. Yet, no practice Quote

My view is that when we see the videos of the 'war rooms' on draft day or trade deadline day, decisions in this organiation are made by the collective, not individually. Adams says that. Pegula says that. That doesn't change unless Pegula wants it to or allows it to, in my opinion. Again, I'm not saying Adams is good...just what else is behind him may not be that much better. If Adams goes, they all should go. Edited Wednesday at 02:10 AM by mjd1001 Quote

Flashsabre Posted Wednesday at 02:09 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 02:09 AM I feel an angry Adams PC coming. He is practicing his angry face in the mirror. “I’m pissed off! I’m angry! Our fearless leader flew in and gave an amazing speech and our players didn’t respond. The onus is in that room. We are not firing or trading anyone and it has nothing to do with Terry not wanting to spend any money. Absolutely not!!!” 1 Quote

Just how much of it can be Dahlin not playing? If that isn't it, it has to be SOMETHING. Quote

mjd1001 Posted Wednesday at 02:14 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 02:14 AM On the PP, Cozens was set up in front of the net, he was being checked but his stick was down. The Sabres player with the puck at the side of the net just a few feet away from Cozens, why did he not try to deflect it in off of Cozens. Even if it didn't work there might be a rebound and Cozens was right there. I don't know if it was Benson or Quinn (couldn't tell) but I'm watching it thinking..his stick is ON THE ICE, you are 5-6 feet away and its a 5 on 3, why are you not trying it?? Quote

mjd1001 Posted Wednesday at 02:15 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 02:15 AM Montreal needs one more. 6-1 loss is bad, but something about the number "7" as far as goals allowed just sounds SOOO much more embarassing than allowing 6. 1 Quote
