I’m glad I haven’t been watching this game, or most of the games this season. 

This organization lost me years ago. 

I am only aware of this game and score because Laine is on my fantasy team, and my phone was blowing up with alerts.

Very good point, but…they did identify and go after Josh hard. We have to acknowledge that. They put their full belief into Josh and getting him after identifying him as a potentially franchise altering player.

I think the NHL steps in. We might not hear about it except through rumours, but Pegula has dug his heals in and the only way out is if he's forced.

Still think the plan is to make WNY complacent in moving the franchise out of the area: if the NHL doesn't step in then that's the only end-game that makes sense if you allow that the entire organization isn't led by total idiots.

The last 2 days the Sabres have been a pretty big talking point on 590 out of Toronto. A tad of making fun of the team, but really all the guys I heard are just flabbergasted, stunned at what is going on with the Sabres and none of them even have a clue how to fix things. (and commentators and 'insiders' ALWAYS have a solution of how to fix things, so that is saying something.)

You mean, where would they be if their GM didn't target Josh and then make several trades to put the Bills in position to draft him, even though a large number of experts thought he was the wrong Josh?

Agreed. But the fact that management havent/cant/wont make that happen tells you everything you need to know about the current state of affairs.

Absolutely not. I don’t think anyone should go to games at this point. They need to fire Kevin. His plan did not work and will not work.

Then when they take the ice, the entire arena just start to Boo and toss garabage ontot he ice and the Owners Box. You could also throw palm trees......

Spend the rest of the night chanting 'Fire Adams' & 'Sell the team Terry'

 

If thats not 'Our Style', have everyone fill the stands, then once the anthem is over, the entire arena of fans just walk out at puck drop (maybe leave palm trees in their seats), sit out a period, or the etire game. That will get noticed and tell Terry fans aren't going to sit for this BS....

I hear what you're saying but having that guy still doesn't solve the problem that Power wants to play forward and not play D.

My usual disclaimer: Firing him does nothing unless the entire hockey department goes with him AND Pegula takes a step back.

The worst thing would be if Adams if fired, and a promotion happens from within and you still have the same group of people making decisions for this franchise, with just a new name on the GM door and a different face/voice saying the same thing in front of the microphone.

I am a fan that wants to be happy.

he obviously needs to go even if others do too. Absolutely no issue seeing him go first. He deserves to
