Honestly , I couldn't care if they win or lose tonight. Let me ask you this. Which is a better alternative ? 1) they win tonight and play mediocre the rest of the season , just good enough for Adams to remain GM through the summer of 25 2) they lose a couple of more games in a row forcing Terry to actually do something ? 1 Quote

I'll go further. winning or losing tonight doesn't really matter cause: One of the richest men in the world will continue to treat the Sabres as a poverty franchise Adams will still be the GM winning tonight doesn't matter because 4 out of the 6 dmen (until Dahlin returns - then it will be 3) are scrubs and maybe shouldn't even be in the league until this 3 things change a win or a loss tonight will change nothing. At best they are mediocre, at worst they will battle for the top pick in the draft Quote

apuszczalowski Posted Wednesday at 02:07 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 02:07 AM The Fan Base needs to make it known that they aren't going to continue to accept this Next home game, the second they come onto the ice, just litter the ice with garbage along with the Owners Box, then spend the game chanting 'Fire Adms' & 'Sell the team Terry'. OR Next game once the Anthems are complete, everyone just get out of their seat and walk out (make a statement by leaving a palm tree behind) The only other way to make a statement would be to hurt Terrys wallet by not buying tickets, but thats not really going to work because there will always be other teams fans willing to buy them and lots of season tickets are presold before the season Quote
Stoner Posted Wednesday at 03:16 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 03:16 PM The team? I don't think it's any more complicated than that. Quote

Would love to see something like this organized. Fans litter the ice with jerseys, inflatable palm trees and Hawaiian shirts BUT would need someone too organize, doubt there is anyone with a strong enough voice to get this done Quote

Or are they cursed forever ? Maybe Terry has to die in order for the curse to be lifted ? Not one player on today's roster was around or even drafted by the Sabres in 2014-15. To say their losing in 2024-25 is tied to the 2014-15 is ludicrous Almost as crazy as not being sure if the team wouldn't be better off with Eichel and Samson on it over Krebs and Tuch Isn't that the whole point?? We tanked and we have literally nothing to show for it other than a few magic beans. The team, still with the same owner as that year, effed up the tank. Hard. This year's team is still paying for the collective mistakes of the franchise due to their putrid management of assets over the last decade. Eichel tipped his hand the year he was nearly a point-per-game player - he was the real deal. The last year here, Reinhart clearly established himself as a go-to player. There were a few efforts to rebuild after the tank. They failed. In the early days, the Sabres brought in all sorts of outside talent and paid the going rate. I think it culminated in the Hall/Staal year - both were such colossal failures, Terry said "no more." and we got E. Johnson and other such castoffs. Sigh. We got 'lucky' with Zucker, I guess. Quote
Huckleberry Posted Thursday at 12:27 AM Report Posted Thursday at 12:27 AM well Im not boycotting, well maybe I been since start of year since I gave up on watching. Sadly sometimes its what fans have to endure, next time you think of starting to root for a team, just ask a priest and have them say " for better or for worse" 😛 2 1 Quote

Stop going games? Stop watching the team all together I've stopped watching the games live over the last couple of weeks but I've scrolled through the replays. Except for yesterday where I haven't even seen a highlite im more than willing to stop watching all together, will not spend $1 (even a cdn dollar) on them until drastic changes are made. Forcing a sale of the franchise would be the #1 goal. RUFF is READY Quote

Your argument is lost the moment you try to gauge success without considering whether the team wins. You fall into the same trap the team has fallen into, not prioritizing winning over just about anything else. Like I said, you got what you asked for. You should be enjoying it. Bills Mafia prioritized smashing Tables and Tailgating, got through 17 years and remained fans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Been rewarded Quote

OverPowerYou Posted Thursday at 01:53 AM Report Posted Thursday at 01:53 AM Over the last 14 years I have sold almost all of my Sabres memorabilia. I used to go to about 4 games a year. Now all I have is a Sabres winter hat that looks really cool and I don’t really want to wear it. I’d rather have my head freeze 1 Quote
