SHAAAUGHT!!! Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago 2 hours ago, Flashsabre said: I can see it now: Buffalo wins in Montreal 4-3. Adams holds a PC to tell the world how everyone was motivated by Pegula’s presence and this proves what an amazing owner he is. After a win in Montreal I can see GMKA and TP increasing the communication to twice daily. Mornings to discuss golf and the Bills, afternoons to talk home remodeling and how there are more comparables between tennis and hockey than soccer and hockey and he has the perfect candidate (aka family member) to be President of Hockey Ops. DarthEbriate Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago So… they’ve canceled 3 practices since the collapse against Colorado? Seems like Appert could’ve used some of that time to work on the power play without Dahlin on the point. 2 1 Quote

But even if a trade is not on the horizon, why tell them that? This team seems to feel comfortable and appears to not push themselves too hard, there is a perception they are fragile mentally. If that is the case, and it appears it is the case, then I want that sword of damocles of a potential trade hanging over their head. Quote

I personally am not at that point yet thinking other issues around him are just as bad as him. We can disagree for a while. But as low as my current opinion of Terry Pegula is, him giving the team that message just lowered it a tad bit more. 1 Quote

Ruff Around The Edges Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Terry Pegula is a terrible speaker in public I am sure it was a speech that gave Adams and the players chills and will inspire them for years to come 🙄 1 Quote

Pegula is the biggest problem because he is the owner. Adams is a terrible GM, the worst in the nhl by a country mile and likely pro sports firing of any member of the staff would be welcome by me because something is better than nothing, if only to send a message of expectation. i literally *do not care* if Terry is worse. You and MJD can continue the straw man argument no one is having. No one is ever gojng to agree Kevyn Adams is “actually ok” which is the true Trojan horse at play. No. He’s awful. He should be fired. the “firing him won’t make any difference at all” (as IF one would know that. As IF Adam’s is *literally* a puppet who doesn’t GM at all at all and Terry manages the day to day, for some astronomically uncommonly weird reason) is just the latest form the “what could Kevyn Adams have even done?” logic has taken. It always spouts a new head Edited 2 hours ago by Thorner Quote

He gave off strong “hockey is just something I happen to be really good at” vibes. O’Reilly lost his love for the game in Buffalo. Maybe the key is to bring in a player who doesn’t love the game to begin with. As a BC resident I am not sold on EP40. He always gives a “whatevs” vibe. If I were the Canucks I would have made the proposed deal they had with Carolina last year. No offense to Buffalo the City, but Vancouver is a great place to live and play. I can see Petie fading into oblivion should he end up in Buffalo. Again no offense. Quote
