Hello Teammates, damm this team is broke.  
 

I kept my word. I avoided them today.  It was all Bills with no Sabres - I did not want to contaminate the Bills.  I made sure I had no Sabres contact during that game. The Bills rose to the occasion. 
 

Ten in a row.  Blew another lead.  My Sabres have been ruined.

My fandom has never been tested like this in 50 years.

You can read back through my post history, I've been pretty steadfast with remaining positive about this team. I foolishly bought in to what Adams was doing based on the early returns that we saw late in the 2022/23 season. Since then, it has been an utter failure by GMKA to properly supplement this roster to get them to the next step. He's left these guys to their own devices and there's regression across the board and complete systemic failure. I'm all out of positivity. I'm not even taking them seriously anymore, I tune in to rubberneck the car crash. This franchise is a smoldering heap of failure with no bright horizons. Next step is tuning them out completely which probably isn't far off. Huzzah.

Was over at a relative’s house for the game and during every commercial he was flipping to the Sabres game.  My only question….why?

Watched this in replay. Wasn't surprised to see the Sabres give them trouble early. They get sucked into an open game with us every year and we've won several of them but not this one. I do wonder who's decision it was to play Levi? My guess would be Adams. Ruff's not big on giving rookies a shot but you never know. I suspect Adams rolling the dice with his guy. Loss not Levi's fault, but he still doesn't look NHL ready to me. 

The passenger of the night award goes to JJ Peterka. Just watch the 4th Leaf's goal. WTF is Peterka doing, because he's not playing hockey. Admiring how white the ice is? Singing jungle bells to himself? Just floating around in between Leafs doing absolutely nothing basically giving them a PP when it's 5 on 5. If this was a Tortorella team he wouldn't have seen another second of ice time after that and he'd probably be in the press box for the next 2 or 3. That was pathetic. Just pathetic. 

Garbage team. Fire everybody.

Yes, of course he is, but if he tells them what to do and what he expects and they just don't do it, he basically has no power or options in this environment. 

It's not his assistants, it's not his personnel, he's pretty much neutered.

The Sabres playoff drought will reach 14 seasons in 2025, or about 6 years longer than it took the Americans (with French help) to whip the British in the Revolutionary War.

When I was 8 I liked the Dallas Stars because they won the Stanley cup and Mike Modano was awesome for team USA in the Olympics. 
 

I might go back to being 8 years old again
