Thorner Posted December 15 Report Posted December 15 Will need to probably play at ~ 107 point pace rest of way to make it. 71 point pace through first 30 1 Quote

Carmel Corn Posted December 15 Report Posted December 15 (edited) 17 minutes ago, Thorner said: And who’s been missing? I understand your point, but overall this team is still pretty healthy. Almost everybody else not playing was a health scratch (maybe not Lafferty?). Dahlin is important, but is his impact that significant? Maybe they win a game or two with him in the lineup, but IMHO they would still have lost most of these 9 games still. Edited December 15 by Carmel Corn 1 Quote

Not even worth having a discussion about. I’m just hoping KA gets canned. It’s the only hope at this point. 1 1 Quote

We aren't making the playoffs. Hell, we'll be lucky to pick outside of the top 4. Is it the players? Coaching? Management? At this time, it's a combination of players and GM. I don't blame Lindy for this, he's not the issue. The age of the players, the environment they've been seeded in, losing is acceptable, and the choice of draft picks combined with UFA and trade availability. These are issues that continuously lead to disaster. The GM is ultimately responsible. 2 Quote

Idk what Lindy is thinking on that. Not a fan of the early goalie pull, especially with this group. Edited December 15 by K012010 1 Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted December 15 Report Posted December 15 Tomorrow I was gifted tickets to this cool planetarium thing in Rochester, a 3D Orchestra show. I'll record the Bills game and do my best to avoid the score until I'm home. I will Google the sabres score once and laugh my @ss off. This team doesn't move the needle, the needle is snapped off, the record player doesn't rotate and the plug has been cut off. 1 Quote

Strasenburgh or something else? Quote
SabresBillsFan Posted December 15 Report Posted December 15 Sorry, but Adams should have never held any press conference with that horrid loss to the Av’s. This team is pathetic. 1 1 Quote
sabremike Posted December 15 Report Posted December 15 This is an AHL level roster performing the way you would expect an AHL roster to perform against NHL teams. 1 Quote

GASabresIUFAN Posted December 15 Report Posted December 15 I posted this in the NHL thread a hour ago. Ooops! Quote Apparently 8 wasn’t enough. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 we don’t want 10. Fire Adams! Quote

I don’t think their laser shows are very entertaining. Quote

It's called Mesamerica, yes it's at Strasenburgh. They also play in buffalo at the Gerguseom planetarium I believe, but that was sold out. 12 minutes ago, Andrew Amerk said: Their star shows are absolutely amazing. You need to see one of those. HumanSlinky39 Posted December 15 Report Posted December 15 (edited) It's incomprehensible to me that mostly this same group of players (or at least same core) really looked like an emerging team late in the 2022/23 season. They looked crisp, confident, and were beating actual good teams down the stretch that season. Then last year they collapsed under the weight of expectations and have spiraled even further this season. Now they look completely lost and can't do anything right. This is the risk you take by pinning your hopes to a bunch of kids that are forced to develop together without any real veterans to learn from. There's talent/potential here, but Adams has totally bungled it by doing next to nothing the last two offseasons. Just keep running it back without any significant enhancements to the roster. Bravo.
