Flashsabre Posted December 12 Report Posted December 12 Caps, Leafs, Habs, Leafs, Bruins, Isles, Hawks, Blues, Stars to finish out 2024. How many (if any) games do the Sabres win? Realistically 2-7 at this point is my prediction. Beat the Hawks and take one from the Leafs. Quote

If their recent stretch is any indication, LLWLLLLLL. Quote
Crusader1969 Posted December 12 Report Posted December 12 When does Dahlin come back? It will be L's until he does. Even then , it may take him a few games to get back to 100%, just like at the beginning of the season. 1 Quote
Indabuff Posted December 12 Report Posted December 12 Hopefully soon. I'm running out of Sesame Street number gifs. 2 1 Quote

Gatorman0519 Posted December 12 Report Posted December 12 This wasn’t hard to predict. Not enough top end talent. Too young. 80-85 points at best. 2 Quote
bunomatic Posted December 12 Report Posted December 12 When does Dahlin hand in his ‘ C ‘ ? The pressure for him will be intense if he comes back into a losing streak. 1 1 Quote
Andrew Amerk Posted December 12 Report Posted December 12 They’ll win one of the games that they are not supposed to, and lose the rest. Quote
Berg Posted December 12 Report Posted December 12 Doesn't matter..Another year without playoffs Quote
PerreaultForever Posted December 12 Report Posted December 12 I doubt they beat the Caps unless the Caps have a really off night and play their back up etc. It happens. It won't shock me if they score big against the Leafs though. They seem to have the ability to suck the Leafs into wide open run and gun games and often come out on top, even when they sucked against everybody else. Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted December 12 Report Posted December 12 …… the day after Adams is fired or Pegula sells the team, whichever comes first. 3 Quote
SABRES 0311 Posted December 12 Report Posted December 12 Tuesday, December 17 against Montreal. Quote
mansquito Posted December 12 Report Posted December 12 (edited) Simply put... The change in coach proves what a terrible job Adams did and putting a team together. (I know obvious) Sorry, we need to start trading most of the garbage including the Captain... Don't care if he wins a cup somewhere else, he's a man-child right now, not deserving of the C. bob_sauve28 Posted December 12 Report Posted December 12 Again, fix the power play. 30th ranked pp. No PP goals in last..well, however long its been, and all loses. NY converted their first PP and never looked back. We didn't, and looked back 1 Quote
Carmel Corn Posted December 12 Report Posted December 12 It may take UPL having a Superman game where he steals one for us…we win 1-0 Quote

I get what you are saying... but over a 1/3 of the way into the season I think they need to have an amazing finish to the season to get 59 points in in 53 games...I am realistically thinking that this is a 70pt team at best... but you never know.. I was never a big Thomas Vanek fan, but we sure could use a guy like that now. Goes to the front of net, great hands for tipping, shooting, faking and passing. (I don't think he was worth four first rounders, but still) Fix the PP and things will get better. I remember when we traded for Gary Galley just for this reason, and he was ok. Quote

zow2 Posted December 12 Report Posted December 12 Tuch used to do that "whooo!" thing after wins. That's been muted of course. Just slowly sapping the love of the game from Tuch. He loved it here but even he has no answers or solutions. Quote

pi2000 Posted December 12 Report Posted December 12 It's always darkest before the dawn. Saturday is the day. Mark the date <enter date> 12-14-2024 in Sabres history as the day the franchise resurrected itself from the depths of hockey hell, and began it's forward march to Stanley Cup glory. 1 Quote
