They played mediocre hockey for the entire game only to turn it on in the last 5 minutes.   No passion, coordinated attacks or physical play.  This team is aggravating to watch.

As a player for an opposing team I would never allow myself to be traded to the Sabres. It’s like a toxic wasteland for careers.  The GM Adams has his work cut out for him, if he survives the skid.

Another overhaul?   You are looking at a five years to sniff the playoffs.  They have talent to succeed and break the streak but not the discipline or effort. They are an enigma.

Sorry to disagree, but they DO NOT have the skilled talent. Shooting, passing all sub par at NHL level!

I do t think any of the core should be “allowed” to be traded. It would be a reward after they were rewarded with big fat long term deals. Make them have to play and stay. No gifts.
