Hits 30-12 says it all.

Getting pushed around and outplayed in our own building.

No pride.

Asst C Tuch 6’5” 230. One hit. No shots.

Some leadership example, huh?

Through 2, Power, if he did get benched in the first, made up for it in the 2nd. After only 3.5 minutes of ice time in the first, he's up to close to 11 through 2, so he had over 8 minutes of ice time in the 2nd.

Ryan Johnson 2nd in ice time behind Byrum with over 14 minutes through 2.

Peyton Krebs leading among forwards, He's aleady closing in on 14 minutes through 2 periods.

Peterka with one single shift for just over 1 minute of ice time for the entire 2nd period.

You can do one but NOT 4

The way he talks and acts and how he specifically talked about these deals really sounded like he thought he was gaming the system. That no one else had ever thought of trying this.

His fatal flaw is his arrogance imo. Instead of executing a tried and true rebuild process with tangible steps of progress to achieve, he went for an ultra risky dynasty build.

It really comes down to the whole walk before you can run thing. He didn’t have experience as a general manager, and instead of deferring to more experienced smarter people who had shown the path to rebuilding a franchise, he tries to build some dynasty. Now we are literally anchored even worse than before.

I hope I’m wrong, but Adams may have caused the most damage of any of our general managers throughout this entire drought. That’s a really scary thought.

This power play is the brain child of Appert?

All this backward passing and everyone else waits at the blue line.  No energy when the final get a zone entry, if they get one.

Bis is firing away at both of the teams, calling this game the Toilet Bowl.

i think now that Lindy took the filter off - it will take some of these guys a few weeks to adjust. Power looks shook.

Power has always look shook but now he looks ready to crawl into the fetal position and beg for his mommy cause Lindy might have come close to raising his voice. He is an embarrassment

He is 22, and I know who he is and when he was drafted.  Thanks.

Really and you're gonna just toss him away after 2.5 years.

"Playing his first full season with the Sabres, Power registered four goals and 31 assists in 79 games. He led all rookie defencemen in both assists and points, and was voted a finalist for the Calder Memorial Trophy"

"Owen Power had 6 goals, 27 assists and a plus-minus of +8 in 76 games in 2023-24."

At one time Power was point leader for Defense this year.

Whole team has gone off the Rails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and the Sabres are have less as many giveaways as the Rangers, and they have more blocked shots too?

You might have an argument in regards to Cozens production but I will stand on a soapbox and scream to the mountains that his fight with Hatheway changed him as a player. He used to have piss and vinegar; he used to play hard every shift and try to play physically at any moment he could. Now he’s more of a outside the house player and looks hesitant to engage physically

Not wrong. At least he used confident skating the puck up the ice and in the o-zone ... now he looks pretty bad everywhere.

I agree with both - lol. I don't think "The Fight" changed his stats drastically, but I will agree that he plays more timid now.

I don't know. He's just really really bad now.

Power is the forum whipping boy tonight, and the last few games, but he HAS had games where he has played well and helped the team win. Maybe not enough, but he has.  Tage, people get upset with him but the guy is on pace for 45-50 goals.  Cozens?  How many games has he been a difference maker this year? If its more than 1 or 2 I would be shocked.  He's just....bad..and he has been for a very long time.

I'm really trying to wrap my head around something and it's really bothering me. It's messing with me and my anxiety is through the roof.

Is this game going to end 2-0 or 3-0? Is there one empty net or two? Help me to understand!
