Big Guava Posted December 10 Report Posted December 10 Sabres just need to play Detroit more and all their problems would be solved. They seem to always score tons of goals against them at home especially. Quote

He made the really smart play holding the puck for a second to spring McLeod ... then he <checks notes> yeah, skated hard and got back in the play. Quote

mjd1001 Posted December 10 Report Posted December 10 (edited) So, near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings. The negative goal differential. The rebuild obviously not working. No wins in December. That disappointing 1 goal loss to Colorado last week. Only points in the last 2 weeks being OT loss points. The Red Wings sure are bad. Edited December 10 by mjd1001 1 Quote

Kind of ironic….our hockey teams are bad….but our FOOTBALL teams are pretty good! Quote

He did a good job in Tampa, I won't say he didn't, but it was set up pretty well for him when he got there. He already had 2 #1 overall picks on the roster in Stamkos and Hedman. He had 5 first round picks in the next 4 years coming, including 2 top 10 overall. He had Veteran stars on the roster to bring the young guys along (St. Louis, Lacavalier). And most importantly, he had 2 BIG things that Detroit doesn't......Low taxes and Palm trees. 1 Quote

If you wanted to give Lindy some credit...maybe when he gets call-ups for the first time his initial conversation with the young guy and setting of expectations is impactful? Quote
Pimlach Posted December 10 Report Posted December 10 (edited) Whoa. Whoever hit Zucker needs to answer. Terrible non-call ref. Edited December 10 by Pimlach Quote

ASlugAbove Posted December 10 Report Posted December 10 Man I give it to Zucker. Guy has been great this year and genuinely looks happy to play here. That’s why Adams should’ve gotten more guys like him. He got one. Would’ve liked 2 more. 1 3 Quote
