Need to change the title of this thread to "Adams waiting to do Nothing until too late"

Hey,  he finally picked up a journeyman backup goalie.

That's not an easy thing to do,  apparently.

I hear Boston has called up asking about Tuch. I would hope Adams is not considering it.

If that is true and he trades Tuch, then Adams truly is stupid is as stupid does

Why on G-d's green Earth would Adams trade the local kid on a bargain contract to a desperate hated divisional rival?

I mean, if it was Pastrnak coming back I would do it.  So I wouldn't just out and out dismiss things, but it's not realistic.

I wasn’t saying it because I’m tired of seeing the thread, I said it because it’s against pile of poo.  Not real.  Not a thing.  Six pages of content based on nothing.

It's not like six pages of content based on nothing is a record around here. 🙂

Consider this thread to be devoted to the people who hate long stretches of silence and feel the need to fill it in with irrelevant small talk.

How about the weather?  🙂

They say we will get a "bomb cyclone" where I live tonight. When did weather get this dramatic? It's going to be windy.

Bomb Cyclone would be a good nickname for something in hockey though. Like the Surge. We need a BOMB CYCLONE!

Pretty sure it was bomb cyclones that got Zach Bogosian in trouble

Isn’t that one of the Canes post game celebrations?

It does sound cooler than a "winter storm". And the satellite view is fun.

I look forward to our new bomb cyclone overlords. Here in the south Sound region the evening weather report is gusty winds (up to 50 mph, so not all that bad) and drizzle. The bomb cyclone is too powerful to rain.

Buffalo needs Joki to play well now that he is back in the lineup. If he does, that gives KA a piece that is tradable. There are more than a few teams looking for a decent dman. Joki has it in him to be just that! You have to give to get and have that serviceable defenseman can help him get what this team needs!

So now that they have won 3 in a row, is the “big trade” now on the back burner.  Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if Pegula and KA think like this.

I'd hope not but you never know.  Like usual, I want a trade to be done when its a good trade. After 2 losses in a row when people are screaming on here to make a trade I don't want one forced. On the other hand, if a good one presents itself I don't want it NOT to be made just because people feel good about a 3 game winning streak.

I believe you make a trade when its a good trade. Not when its forced.

If Pegula & KA are making trades based on how loudly the fanbase is screaming, the 13 year drought won’t be ending anytime soon.

Hopefully they are on SabresSpace making decisions based on various poster rants😝

There’s plenty of truth in this joke, but I continue to believe that an executive committee of Sabrespacers would’ve done a much better job of GM’ing this team than the actual GMs have delivered since the drought began.

yes and no. You make a trade when a trade possibility presents itself that makes your team better.

Would anyone disagree that the 2nd line isn't good enough? Would anyone argue that we are fine waiting for Samuelson to heal and we couldn't use a solid defensive D man (a Gilbert, but a better than Gilbert one). I think 90% or more of the people here would agree with that, so if you can make a deal that doesn't create a new hole in your roster to fix those issues you make your team better and you increase your chances of making the playoffs.

So if the Rangers are looking to make a move you have to look at it and try to make something happen. If the price is too high of course you say no thank you, but we do have the assets to afford an immediate overpay, as long as it makes us better.

I have a hard time thinking GM Little League World Series is gonna gut the team of its current leadership and send those guys to an in conference “rival”.  Weirder things have happened and he just might be arrogant enough (he is) to think he can pull the wool over Adams sheepy little eyes and fleece him but he’s dealing from such a position of weakness, that it would take a trade blunder of generational levels for Kevyn to screw it up.
