Got the stadium built is right. And the Sabres were not a failing franchise when he bought it. It sure is now.

I don't care about the rest.

The Sabres were failing after 2007 and NOT signing either Center. Pegula would have got at Least 1 signed. He does that well!!!!!!!!!!!!

HE BOUGHT IT FOR $150 Mil and he doesn't have to sell it. His Ownership of Multiple Teams with success proves he can hire the RIGHT people. As far as the Sabres go, a lot of people that leave the Sabres have been good somewhere else so the Sabres do somethings right.

You need LUCK when your losing. Bills hired a few Dudes like Ryan, Malarchuck, Few very strange GM's. With the Talent in the Amerks and the Right GM with Ruff, NOT far from becoming the Bills loaded with Talent for 10 years

Don't LIKE THEM, STOP WATCHING!!!!!!!!!!!!

His success with other teams proves nothing. I know he doesn’t have to sell them. I think they are going to suck until he does, though.

Why do you care so much about what I think of our crappy owner?

I honestly have no idea how to respond to your posts. Are you saying Ruff is the problem?

Our top six is absolutely not good enough. I can’t think of a single player on the team except for maybe JJP who drives play. They all get the puck and float to see what will open up, instead of making something open up.

Ownership is absolutely the problem.

I see, Ownership drafted, traded and coached them up?  Ownership hired the Coaches? Pegula may have hired Ruff this time with what is at STAKE and fact maybe Adams is on a Short leash!

Agree ownership is the problem.

I think in the top 6, I'm also 100% happy with Tage also.  One of the more dangerous players in the league.

Tuch is "OK", but I'd like if he were a guy who could/would score 5-7 more on the first line.

2nd line is garbage.

You have a pillow with Terry’s face on it that you sleep with, don’t you?

Agreed. When he bought the Sabres he didn't even know anything about the Bandits other than they existed, by his own words.  I don't think there has ever been a public sighting or account of him at a bandits game and sitting next to/talking to leadership of them.

As for the bills, there are many more layers of management and complexity between him and the roster.

If anything, brining up the Bills and Bandits with regard to the Sabres further illustrates that his involvement into the roster and his communication with managment....well, the amount of input he has that way is directly related to the lack of success of a franchise he owns.

Prove he has interfered!!!!!!!!!!!!   If I was Pegula I who sue you for Defamation of Character and make you prove your Statement.

One fan that thinks you're WAY off. Think your purposely trying to get fan base to turn against and hurt the value so he has to sell, TRUE????????

Yep. It’s hilarious that he used that as his example. TPegs didn’t even know he bought them as part of the sale until afterwards.

Yeah, he gave me a 'thumbs down' to my post above.

I didn't really give an opinion, more stating the fact that the less he knows about one of his teams and the less he is involved with them at a roster level, the more successful they are.

That is true, not sure why he gave that a 'thumbs down' other than its devastating to his argument. 🤷‍♂️

What does any of that have to do with many years later the Franchise is still Successful and has a Great Fan base???????

You blame him when there are others running the Sabres and you say he deserves no credit when he keeps a Franchise viable and winning Championships.

YOU IN THE BOARD MEETINGS??????

This is a message board, not a court of law, I don't have to prove anything to support my post BUT if you want proof, i'm not typing it all over but look through my posts about this topic in the past month, or take a look through the older thread titled "the trial of Terry Pegula". In it there are a LOT of articles, Quotes from Terry himself, quotes from reporters who were in the room, stories written by credible sources/news sites giving examples.

Again, I'm not going to take a hour to repost it but you don't have to search the whole internet, there stories and quotes are on this forum. There is a whole lot of smoke, and some actual fire there.

Ok, you are using caps shouting and your argument sounds like its coming from a 3rd grader who is saying something and shouting 'gotcha' after you say it.

I always say its a message board so anyone can say what they want, but it does show the level of a particular poster when they don't engage in conversatation but rather resort to all caps or put a post with nothing but sarcasm because they can't articulate their point beyond that (see post immediately above this for an example).

Tell you one fact, Sabres would already be gone if Terry Pegula didn't show up. Be NO Harbor Center! Down town would be a Dead District and much worse looking!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is no question that a new GM needs Terry to move to the background.  Maybe Ruff has enough pull with Terry to ask him to take a step back.  Maybe Karmanis and Ruff can team up in the short-term to try to fix some things sooner than later and hopefully Terry sells the team this spring and thus allows a fresh look.

How does Ruff have that pull?  Pegula fired Ruff once already and he will do it again.  Ruff has been gone for a long time and worked for other teams.  He is NOT a confident of Terry, Adams is.  If anything, Terry will tell Ruff to step away.

If Adams goes it will be AFTER the season.

I love Tage but this doesn’t get discussed.  He’s pitiful in his own end, lazy on the back check, stays on the ice too long for too many shifts, barely touches anyone and makes a lot of bad decisions in the offensive zone.

Didn't need spell check for that. Pretty sure either would Powers but he can afford personnel spell checker anyway.

I do not think he is pitiful in his own zone. He at least holds his position and doesn't leave his zone that much. He may not be a good man-to-man defender but he plays effective zone coverage with is size and reach.

I have not noticed him overstaying his shift and being on the ice too long, but I will keep an eye out for that. Its something that may very well happen and has an impact that I just haven't noticed yet.

Oh really?  Then why don't you tell this to another poster that immediately went to insults?  Oh that's right because he agrees with your nonsense?

You're like an angry mob.  It's actually quite disturbing.

I am not an ungrateful SOB who realizes Terry Pegula saved Buffalo Sport. Rebuilding Downtown starting with Harbor Center bringing in NHL main Events. Building a Super Stadium where he can at Least apply to Sponsor a Super Bowl!

Hell, I bought the whole Pegula Bed Set

Yes. He is the owner of the NHL franchise with the longest current playoff drought in league history. you are going to have to change your user name to 7+7=14.

I will be the third person in. The other poster that you describe at least started with rational points and to me looked like they were open to discussion. You and Trip 65 seem more like you want to resort to sarcasm and shouting first with others how disagree with you and pass right over the rational discussion.

I can personally deal with things escalating between posters. It does bother me when the jump to shouting and insults and sarcasm happens before the rational discussion runs it course.
