My friend was correct. ok. Good to see the kid Kulich score. Rochester 2 Utah 5. In my view, Granato was done dirty. He coached a less talented and less experienced team to within a point of the playoffs. Last year they reverted to closer to their talent level. That wasn’t on Granato, that was on the GM for not having g the courage to step up and bring in players who could help us take the next step. Not saying Granato was perfect, but he squeezed a lot more out of less than Ruff currently is. 1 Quote

Standing outside and beating at a rusty tire in a gas station parking lot was much more enjoyable that any part of this game. No desire to win for you know "the people in the stands that make you millionaires" such heartless crap. Bring back the Ten Nolan team, if we're going to lose continually, let's have some fun while doing it. Seriously the worst roster construction of a team that I may have ever seen in my 40 years. This loss was even more embarrassing and damning coming on the heels of that self-indulgent $hit show of a presser yesterday. 3 2 Quote
Sidc3000 Posted December 7 Report Posted December 7 What happened to that optimist who was posting a few weeks ago? Telling us to just wait, they’re learning a new system. Takes 20 some games. They will figure it out 3 Quote
K012010 Posted December 7 Report Posted December 7 Everybody have a great rest of your day, I’m going to take a drive and enjoy the rest of this beautiful weather, cruise up to Amelia Arena in Tampa and most likely drive straight into the biggest palm tree outside. I’ll let you know if I get to hockey heaven, and if I do, I’ll inform them that they gave Terry the wrong address. See you on the other side. P.S. I am (probably) joking. 4 1 Quote

Most of the players played so far above their ceiling it was never going to last Quote

Turbo44 Posted December 7 Report Posted December 7 Thank God for the Bills / this team is a gd fuking joke. No other way to describe it. I didn’t watch the end / hoping they were booed off the ice so Tuch can cry about it Quote

JustOneParade Posted December 7 Report Posted December 7 That presser was deflating, to say the least, to Sabre fans everywhere. Have to wonder how the players felt hearing that no improvements are on the way. (Not excusing today’s lack of performance). 1 Quote

MDFan Posted December 7 Report Posted December 7 Today was the worst performance I have seen yet from this team. Just awful. There is definitely a rot in this organization. 1 Quote

Time to clean house again. 1 Quote

Skate. Make a play. No goalie pull, no heart at any point of this game... Maybe Our 4th liner with a "fight" but even that didn't get me razzed. Maybe Lindy not pulling the Goalie was a big F U to the teams effort. Otherwise there is not reason to not try... What is 6-2 really that much different than 5-2?! Everything about this team sheds accountability from the top down. Quinn should be sitting, Cozens should be sitting. I want to see half the AHL team skating while our passenger princesses mope in the box. Let's see if that lights a fire. Instead we get palm trees, silence and a lack of a proper product. 1 Quote
LabattBlue Posted December 7 Report Posted December 7 I heard a couple of palm tree references on Sirius NHL radio this morning. I hope it gains momentum and becomes even more embarrassing for the kiddie hockey academy gm. Quote

That Ruff was forced to hire this staff by the owner? Lindy Ruff, who was getting paid by the Devils whether he worked or not, decided to take a job where he would be dictated to? Okay. I have to listen to Adams' comments again addressing the coaching. I thought he hinted that Lindy agreed to the staff as a kind of tryout. Quote
zow2 Posted December 7 Report Posted December 7 This loss is more Rock-bottomy than Colorado imo. All i asked in offseason was for Ruff to get these guys to protect home ice and not have this be such an easy place for opponents to get regulation wins. Started out ok and now it’s been a complete disaster. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted December 7 Report Posted December 7 Do we think the booing affects the players? Honestly. I'm actually curious. Quote

I think the plan is for Ruff to coach for two years, then retire or bump up to an administration job, with Appert taking over. That’s assuming they last that long. Quote
