In my view, Granato was done dirty.  He coached a less talented and less experienced team to within a point of the playoffs. Last year they reverted to closer to their talent level. That wasn’t on Granato, that was on the GM for not having g the courage to step up and bring in players who could help us take the next step. Not saying Granato was perfect, but he squeezed a lot more out of less than Ruff currently is.

That season was such an anomaly. Most of the players  played so far above their ceiling it was never going to last

Its not Granato or Ruff.  Its Mr Palm Tree and the whole talent evaluation staff.  Time to clean house again.

No goalie pull, no heart at any point of this game... Maybe Our 4th liner with a "fight" but even that didn't get me razzed. 

Maybe Lindy not pulling the Goalie was a big F U to the teams effort. Otherwise there is not reason to not try... What is 6-2 really that much different than 5-2?! 

Everything about this team sheds accountability from the top down. Quinn should be sitting, Cozens should be sitting. I want to see half the AHL team skating while our passenger princesses mope in the box. Let's see if that lights a fire. 

Instead we get palm trees, silence and a lack of a proper product.

This loss is more Rock-bottomy than Colorado imo.

All i asked in offseason was for Ruff to get these guys to protect home ice and not have this be such an easy place for opponents to get regulation wins.  Started out ok and now it’s been a complete disaster.

I think the plan is for Ruff to coach for two years, then retire or bump up to an administration job, with Appert taking over. That’s assuming they last that long.
