Also alarming. They don’t know how to fix it. The players, the coach, the GM and Pegula.  They are going to need to make changes.  Move out some of the underperforming youth, bring in some much needed veterans.  They cannot continue to be the youngest team in the league.  It doesn’t work. Is Edmonton still floundering?  See who you can pry loose.  They need to shake it up, too many passengers.  Not enough drivers.

Haven’t you heard? We can’t trade for anyone, cause we have no palm trees.

What advantage is it for the viewers to hear boos?  Or is this just I’m mad at the world, no one can enjoy themselves, not even my peers who are just trying to be entertained for a couple hours.

Umm, what?

I want the live arena experience when watching the game. Booing is part of the live event. I'm not sure why you'd have a problem of the broadcast simply relating reality.

Are the turning down the mics to make a more enjoyable viewing experience or are they turning them down to hide them?

certainly, KA wouldn't advocate turning down the mics, he's the rink manager

Wednesday 12/11 - home game with TNT on the broadcast.

Friday 12/20 - home game with ESPN+/Hulu on the broadcast controls -- but it's a Toronto game so you won't get as much home team audience participation.

Wednesday, the cat will be out of the bag nationally.

There's no way out of this other than through the draft.

We've drafted so poorly for so long and traded away the two blue chips we had.

Our two #1 OAs are not legit franchise players like they should be.

Until we get some Pastrnaks, some Points, and some Kucherovs as later picks, we will continue to suck.

They do.  And they act like children when questioned about it.  The franchise is adrift at sea.

And now, knuckleheads want to get rid of Dahlin and Power.

I heard a couple of palm tree references on Sirius NHL radio this morning.  I hope it gains momentum and becomes even more embarrassing for the kiddie hockey academy gm.

Maybe mocking Adams into resignation is the answer.  Then again, he'd get defensive and avoid media appearances like his boss does in response.

Good old palm tree Kevyn.

I live in “hockey heaven”. East coast of Florida in panther territory. Sam Reinhart lighting it up! Maybe Terry can learn from their ownership.

But Terry already knows hockey.  Nothing left for him to learn in the game.  Doesn't need to establish relationships with other NHL people.

After all...he hired Adams to be the GM.  LOL.

Who would have picked over the guys in the past 5 years?

Given the 4+ years of development time for an 18 year old, a better plan would have been to trade some of the many first rounders for established veteran players.  But hey, we have a whole bunch more first rounders in Rochester to feed to the lions.

The season is almost half over and at this point, I do not have any optimism that this team as currently composed will perform much differently as the season continues.  I understand that it can take time for players to adjust to a new coach and system, but the current state of the team's play suggests there are other issues.  I like Ruff, but it definitely was concerning that there were few changes to the coaching staff.

Maybe most troubling is that after all of the efforts to focus on the draft, there do not seem to be any potentially budding type superstar players in Buffalo or Rochester.  I hope I am wrong about this, because the team needs something to help get it out of this too many years long funk.

I really enjoyed the Panthers’ runs the last two years. How I’d love to see the Sabres built.

It doesn't matter who I would have picked. That's not what I'm paid to do.

I don’t think it’s the draft picks that are the problem.  I think it’s the program and the culture, lots of Sabres picks are thriving on other teams.  Too many.

It's because they're playing with other quality players.  We don't draft quality players.

Is anyone else starting to really dislike Tuch?

If by 'Tuch' you mean 'Adams' or 'Pegula' then, yes.

I'm well past holding any of this against individual players. Tuch is a legit top-6 player on every team in the NHL.  We have him for one more year on a bargain deal.

This is everything that is wrong with Sabres fans.   Always want the good players , or players with potential traded before they turn into the player they eventually will become

anyone else remember the "Samson will be fine" thread?  He was too slow, got knocked over too much , wasn't tough enough for Sabres fans.   Only to get traded and turn into a 50 goal scorer

knuckleheads is a great term

He would be a great second line wing.
