That is basically what he said. I feel the plan is Appert taking the helm after Lindy’s contract expires.

Sure.  But Granato was a limited coach that did not teach winning NHL hockey.  That was his shot, fair or not.

I agree to an extent.  I think Lindy is a better 'win now' coach, but that doesn't mean Granato was as bad as people think.

I listen to Lindy in his press conferences, see what he is talking about. Hear limited things about what he says and does in practice and I truly think the game has not passed him by, I still think he is very capable coach but even he can't get this turned around.  

I'm not sure there was (or is) any coach on the open market that would 1.) come here and take the job...and...2.) accomplish much more with this current team.

Yes I do.   They have a negative affect.  Do you want to be booed, questioned, and criticized while you work?   Not only that but in front of peers on the opposing teams.

Of course if I was making millions a year in my 20s on a guaranteed contract I don’t think I’d bother me so much, but if it did I would work harder to end it.

What advantage is it for the viewers to hear boos?  Or is this just I’m mad at the world, no one can enjoy themselves, not even my peers who are just trying to be entertained for a couple hours.

Also alarming. They don’t know how to fix it. The players, the coach, the GM and Pegula.  They are going to need to make changes.  Move out some of the underperforming youth, bring in some much needed veterans.  They cannot continue to be the youngest team in the league.  It doesn’t work. Is Edmonton still floundering?  See who you can pry loose.  They need to shake it up, too many passengers.  Not enough drivers.
