Why bump a thread that has a title like this?

My first thought was "oh, no".

Thankfully there is not another Adams Presser  anytime soon.

LOL I saw the topic and thought this was new and Adams was doing another presser😂

I'm from NE Ohio originally, so I follow the Browns (for a comedy fix) though never have been a fan. The Browns are kind of the modern-day gold standard for a bumbling franchise. It's been a 25 year death march since they were "reborn" after Art Modell moved the real Browns to Baltimore. Back around 2012, current owner Jimmy Haslam (a prime example of an inept owner) hired a new GM, new team president and new director of player personnel. It was a supposed front office "trinity." The GM was Mike Lombardi, who had spent the prior 6 years with the NFL network and was NOT a popular hire. The 2012 season began with extremely questionable draft choices (including a near 30 year old QB picked in the 1st round) and very "meh" moves in free agency. The season failed spectacularly and the GM was made a fool of in multiple press conferences by tap dancing around questions, arrogance, and dodging accountability. It was clear after 1 season that this "trinity" was in waaaay over their heads. At the season ending presser, a local reporter asked the owner "can you assure the fans that they don't have the 3 stooges running this organization?" That was the actual question. The front office folks were not allowed to do anymore press conferences after that point and were fired after another failed season in 2013. It was an absolute clown show (still is) and the Sabres are not far off from that right now.

I would say the Browns are not the poster child for Sports efficiency, but at least they made the playoffs a couple times... I would say the Sabres arent even in their class the only real competition out there for sports ineptness comes from the Jets... but they have the advantage at this point as they have at least gutted their FO... so its not over yet but the Sabres are the leader in the club house..

and the next press conference I want to see from Adams is him thanking Terry for the opportunity and being sorry he wasnt able to get it done as he is shown the door.

I don't know, man. Body of work-wise, it's hard to beat the Clowns IMO. They just finished up their 26th season and have made the playoffs 3 times. They've gone 140-278 (.335), have just 4 winning seasons, have lost at least 10 games in 18/26 seasons, including an 0-16 season (that was preceded by a 1-15 year...1-31 in 2 seasons LOL). They go through QBs at an incomprehensible rate. They finally found one in Baker Mayfield who while maybe not elite, at least provided the first competent play at the position after 19 years of a revolving door of ineptitude, finally got them to the playoffs (and even won a game!), then dumped him after one ineffective (his shoulder was banged up the whole season) season for a guy under investigation for being a sex pest who would go almost 2 calendar years without playing then prove ineffective and constantly injured...and gave up a HUGE bounty for him. By the by, they went 17 straight seasons without playoffs (2003-19) in that span. Now after showing signs of maybe clawing the way out of the muck, they shot themselves in the foot by trading Mayfield to bring in Watson, a deal that has torpedoed the franchise and has sent them spiraling back to the bottom of the league for the foreseeable future. Mostly because the owner is a total dolt (he pushed for the Watson deal, also pushed for them to draft Johnny Manziel) who meddles and makes ghastly hires...not unlike TP, just with a larger body of work.
