Second Line Center Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 Don’t care. Back to football game. Adams is just going to tell us he’s looking forward to the Keslae Ballerini concert. Quote

Wyldnwoody44 Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 Laffery doing a drive by... That closed door session worked well eh 1 Quote
mjd1001 Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 If they would have held onto that 4 goal lead and came away with a win against Colorado, even todays OT loss wouldn't have been so bad....but alas..... Quote
Pimlach Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 Tuch and Thompson were both deep and got caught. Byram did what he could. UPL made the save, not enough help. Quote

GoPuckYourself Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 We have another passer who is afraid to shoot in Kulich. Now we know what types Adams looks for, skilled passers who are timid shooters. Quote
Billznut Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 0-2-2 in their last four home games. Not nearly good enough. 2 Quote
Scottysabres Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 (edited) Nice effort, improved from last game, just not enough. What are you waiting on Adams? The season is slipping away. Pull the trigger, more than once. Get them the pieces to get them over the hump. Edited December 6 by Scottysabres Quote

Ruined an important part of the game. absolutely irrelevant to the game....we got the faceoff win and got to OT...they shat the bed in OT. I thought it shouldnt have been icing either but that had little to no effect on the loss 1 Quote
K012010 Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 (edited) I mean, I think we can all say we played pretty damn well tonight against what is probably the best team in the league or at least top three for sure. It is what it is. It’s the same recurring things that usually do us in in critical moments. Our top guys just do not finish games when they have the chances. So we’ll sit here and look at it and say we’re not as good as the Jets but we had multiple chances to close the game with our top guys in perfect position. I think we can definitely say we have a true number one large goaltender for the future, which is great. Really happy with UPL. I think the biggest issue is that our again supposed top weapons are not clutch. That’s not gonna fly in the NHL. Edited December 6 by K012010 3 1 Quote
thewookie1 Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 Why does it always feel like lady luck is never on our side? Quite literally Byram gets back makes the play and Lowry pokes at the puck which proceedds to jump in the air, land perfectly calm on the ice right for their guy to put it in. Quote
KC Scouts Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 Thompson did a drive by at his own net on that goal sequence. didn't pick up puck, didn't help Tuch or. his goalie was already looping and heading up the ice. Selfish. 2 Quote

Johnny Cakes Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 (edited) Right on schedule for this team. At least we got a point. Edited December 6 by Johnny Cakes Quote

I'd normally agree, I just cannot this time. 13 heading to 14 seadons now. The cycle of losing must end, the culture of defeat must stop, immediately. I cannot find one reason to keep these assets if the results don't change. I'm sorry Pim, the time is now in my opinion. 1 Quote

Heard Hamilton interview on WGR pregame asking Luukonnen if he thought Thompson should have been selected for Team USA in the 4 nations cup OMG what a laugher 🤣......Thompson is not Team USA material 2 Quote
PerreaultForever Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 Byram with the patented end of game stick smash. He's officially a Buffalo Sabre now. It was a better effort and they did a lot of things better but not good enough. Kozak was adequate in his role. I'd keep him in the line up over Quinn. Good on Gilbert for standing up to Stanley. I don't know why he is below Bryson or Jokiharju on the depth chart. Shouldn't be. We need more players like that. I can see why Winnipeg is slumping. They are sloppy and disorganized. We should have pressed them harder. So another loser point and the winless streak continues. 1 Quote
JP51 Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 11 hours ago, DarthEbriate said: JJP has been a mess all November; Quinn has been a mess all season -- though he has had more jump recently. I'm not going to go back and watch any clips or video, but my recollection of Quinn is missing a shot wide from the slot (maybe blocked off a leg?) and then on the same shift getting caught in no man's land in the D-zone while the rebound goal was scored as either a GTG or GWG, one of them. JJP had a goal thanks to Benson, but otherwise I have no memory of his game, good or bad. I agree you can completely see the Sabres have Sabred those two they have regressed and become apathetic... no worries they will become stars when we trade them away and get with a functional organization... I think Benson is the next one we ruin i am sure we will beat the fight right out of him soon Quote
