Mark this date in Sabres history as the day the franchise officially resurrected itself from the depths of hockey hell, and began it's march forward to Stanley Cup glory. I’ll have what he’s having? Doohicksie Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 They're saying the Jets player wasn't in the blue paint. But LUUKONEN was. You're not supposed to interfere with a goalie in the crease. Quote
mjd1001 Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 He did hit the glove, so normally I would think it would be goaltender interference, but he wasn't in the crease. I don't think you can call that one if the guy wasn't in the crease. 1 Quote
Carmel Corn Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 JJP seems to be happy about being in the box 1 Quote
mjd1001 Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 Interesting to see Bryson out there on the penalty kill. I know Dahlin is missing but still surprising. 1 Quote
ska-T Palmtown Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 PK looked fine for the most part. First unit was very aggressive, but disciplined. Did not see Cozens out there. Quote

Carmel Corn Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 Hate to see those friendly fire collisions Quote
DarthEbriate Posted December 6 Report Posted December 6 Tage and Byram leg-on-leg collusion leads to a couple turnovers and a shot on goal. Quote

When watching replays of penalty killed goals allowed by the sabers, it seems like the vast majority of the goals they allow are when they lose the penalty killing box. Once that box turns into a rectangle, or a rhombus, or worse, that's when they seem to get scored on. Cozens is by far and away the number one offender of making that happen. Quote
