Flashsabre Posted December 4 Report Posted December 4 I saw the score was 4-0 Buffalo in the first and literally the first thought in my head was “they will lose this game”. I can’t believe that being a Sabres fan has come to this. So sad and pathetic. The NY Jets of the NHL. They ain’t sniffing the playoffs and I’m not dedicating anymore time this year to this clown organization. Sell the team Terry this is a bleeping embarrassment 1 Quote
Mr Peabody Posted December 4 Report Posted December 4 I think what we’re seeing is impacted by the earlier “no blocking” philosophy. Too many of these guys never had to bust their a$$es to earn a spot, were brought up too early, and gifted playing time. They’ve never had to go all out every shift. A rookie mistake by a rookie GM 2 1 Quote

Believer Posted December 4 Report Posted December 4 I will wake up tomorrow, God willing, to enjoy another day in this great country. I will be rid of the memory of this miserable experience tonight. I will watch the Sabres on Thursday and wish them a great game against the Jets. Goodnight all. 2 Quote

Lets face it, after TNT, Tuch, Dahlin, UPL, Benson and JJP, there is not a single player on this team worth keeping. Which of our forwards have good shots besides Tage? I feel like most of these guys are as likely to launch a saucer over the glass as hit the net. Edited December 4 by HumanSlinky39 1 Quote

At least power has potential to improve. He will get better, I doubt anyone would disagree with that there isnt one 22 year dman you want out there playing against the top players vs the Avs in crunch time. He shouldn't be put into that position as he clearly isn't ready for it You lose Dahlin and you have no choice because the GM hasnt done his job by bringing in legit NHL defenders Power should not have to be penalty killing and should not be out there when protecting a lead That's not on Power, he's at where he should be in his development curve that's on the GM Both Bryson and Jokiharju need to be gone....tomorrow and a legit top 4 dman brought in via trade 1 1 Quote

rickshaw Posted December 4 Report Posted December 4 Ruff post game? The guy is so old. He should be barely able to contain himself after that meltdown and instead he’s just like, “ yeah we panicked, we did this, we did that etc” He was so not the right hire. It’s over. This team has already taken the fight out of him. Sad 2 Quote

I’ve been screaming for it. The ONLY way to get Pegula to make a massive change is to embarrass him. The only way to embarrass him is to have that place completely empty. Not 7,000 in the seats. Empty. Quote

So you are saying he should have declined the money ??? That's on Adams not the player do you think Luke Hughes has to try to shut down the top lines up by 1 ? guess how many minutes killing penalties Luke Hughes has played this season ? Not one !!! That's a team that is serious about winning. Not the Sabres 5 minutes ago, Billznut said: This is what should have been happening for years now. I’ve been screaming for it. His judgement on NHL players is terrible and he should be fired immediately. 1 Quote

The Sabres under Pegula have gone from a average attendance of 99%+ to sometimes below 80% in some years. We’re consistently bottom 5 in the league. Nonody is going to the games by NHL standards. There should be signs plastered all in the stands criticizing the owner, Terry Pegula, by name. Enough that they are on every broadcast. Quote
