Yes, in the last 2 periods if they wanted the puck they just took it and when they had it Sabres couldn't (or wouldn't) take it from them. They massed around the net and created lots of traffic, deflections, basic chaos. Exactly what Lindy has preached, because it's hockey 101, but Sabres generally don't/won't/can't do it. We can argue over which of those 3 things it is, but in all cases the end result is the same. 

At least Mitts wasn't a stand out. That would have been even harder to take.

Only problem with yet another tear down is we have already done it but each time we build it back wrong so if we don't change the methodology it will just repeat again.

Adams vision: Give me a bunch of soft puck moving D who can't play D and a bunch of forwards with good shots who skate fast, but no players who actually know how to set up a teammate or play 200 feet.

Lets face it, after TNT, Tuch, Dahlin, UPL, Benson and JJP, there is not a single player on this team worth keeping.

I know it’s been said but…Bryson and Jokiharu shouldn’t even be in the nhl let alone our top 4. Connor Clifton is also horrible and Samuelson (when he decides to play) is horrible. That’s 4/6 man. Our captain plays so soft and careless. Adams made huge mistakes with this unit

Don't forget Power.  The friendly giant who literally can't play defense.  He doesn't hit anyone, he doesn't use his size to move people out and has no idea how to make the first pass out of the zone.  To make it worse, he doesn't even try.

I can’t believe what’s happened to Cozens. 
 

I have 2 possible explanations:

 

1. They got paid

2. They see absolutely no one around the league is waiving their NMCs to come here - so we have overall checked out on the idea of ever winning significantly.  
 

I know folks in Buffalo don’t want to hear that.  It’s a fact.  Of all the cities these guys look at to spend the prime of their lives - getting taxed to death and dealing with 9 months of winter isn’t at the top of their list.  
 

Only the owner can fix that.  He lives in Florida and comes up to visit the Bills.

Somebody should organize a social media event where a home game is selected and EVERYONE boycotts the game.  Don’t sell your tickets to the other team, just keep the arena as empty as possible to send a message to Pegula

Until they look at what is dysfunctional and lacking in the organization's upper echelon i.e. the lack of excellence and competence , the unwillingness to spend quality money on real respectable hockey personnel that are not "Inbred"....fix that or we go nowhere

The Sabres could call up Isak Rosen from Rochester. He is the heavy body enforcer this team needs. I still remember Kevyn Adams and Jerry Forton raving about his skating and how he uses his edges so well. Is that what the Sabres need? Maybe they need some players who can handle themselves in the corners and in front of the net. If I watch Owen Power avoid all physical contact any more I'm going to go crazy. He's 6'6" and over 220 lbs. and he plays like an eight year old girl who's afraid of her own shadow. Clearly the GM's on this team have no freakin' idea what they are doing.

The Bills win a lot of games, make the playoffs, provide entertainment and some civic hope., even the Bandits actually win Championships. 

The Sabres organization should feel like complete failures in a league that is designed for every team to cycle in and out of the playoffs every few years.  The model is not for any one team to suck for 14 seasons with no end in sight of making the Tourney. I mean Seattle has been in the league for 5 mins and arguably better.  Forget comparing to Vegas as they are in a different universe than the Sabres.  I wish Terry would sell the team. If they get sold and unfortunately moved then so be it.
