They have energy, they lack tenacity. They do not fight for pucks and win puck battles the way good teams do. Aside from Benson and occasionally one or two others but not all the time.

Poor drafting strategy….select players who play with energy who are already hard wired to be aggressive.  I’ve had enough with so-called talented, but soft and lazy types.  Fans will support a team with more Benson type players, even if they don’t always win.

The “young core” of this team is and has always been extremely overrated, including Dahlin.  They play with a horrible mix of laziness, entitlement and stupidity.  

Kevin seems to lack the humility, guts or more likely the authority to own it and do what’s necessary to fix it.  
 

Under Terry 13 years of ownership:

4 GMs. 1 President of Hockey Ops for only 3 months before Pat resigned, 8 coaches, 19 1st rd picks, 10 top 10 picks, 4 top 4 picks

Why would anyone believe that any strategy to fix this mess, especially the draft and develop one would ever be successful under this ownership?

A roster full of players that can't finish most nights. Easily frustrated if the scoring chance doesn't convert.

Yup, we are the NY JEts of the NFL, this group cannot be successful. Another full rebuild should start sooner than later but they need a real GM to figure out how to do it. At this point, I don't think fans would care if any of these players were traded but KA CANNOT be the guy to do it.
