JoeSchmoe Posted yesterday at 02:03 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:03 AM You don't have to win every game... But can you at least try?!?!?! Quote

As a former professional golfer, I can tell you it’s a physical grind. I always laugh when people say things like “this is a man’s game” as if the guys on tour aren’t men. If you can’t come close to shooting par, you shouldn’t be talking like this. You have no idea the level of fitness needed to compete on tour these days. I'm too busy day drinking when golfing... I'm also terrible. One par per 18 and I'm happy 😂😂 1 1 1 Quote

Second Line Center Posted yesterday at 02:05 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:05 AM Auston Matthews has missed almost half the Leafs games this year. They’re still 13-7-2. What are we even thinking here this group can’t compete in this division. 2 Quote

Bangarang Posted yesterday at 02:06 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:06 AM Adams just needs to keep running back the same core. Surely a few minor tweaks to the bottom 6 will solve everything 3 Quote
DarthEbriate Posted yesterday at 02:07 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:07 AM (edited) It really goes back to what you have to do to make the playoffs --- because they're not a juggernaut, they've got to have a cumulative winning record against the primary competition and any bottom feeders (MTL) for those wildcard spots. They cannot no-show these games. OTT, DET, MTL, NYI, PIT, PHI So far this season: 2-5-1 and losing by two tonight. Edit: My list forgot to include CBJ, but the record did include them. Scottysabres Posted yesterday at 02:10 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:10 AM I do wonder how much longer before Adams pulls the trigger. No playoffs this year and he has to be gone. Just another Pegula experiment gone bad. Will he tru to save his job? I do wonder. 1 1 Quote

Any decisions that will impact this team long term can no longer be made by him. He can tweak. But he cannot be allowed to do anything significant. I've seen enough. They had a chance this week to show they’ve turned a corner and are going to get 1 out of 6 points. 1 2 Quote

Heck, even if there is a change, he may end up getting a promotion 1 1 Quote

Second Line Center Posted yesterday at 02:16 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:16 AM I think Lindy is here to be GM after Adams is canned in mid January. Lindy will have had 8 plus months to evaluate. Appert will become interim coach. Quote
