Adams just needs to keep running back the same core. Surely a few minor tweaks to the bottom 6 will solve everything

It really goes back to what you have to do to make the playoffs --- because they're not a juggernaut, they've got to have a cumulative winning record against the primary competition and any bottom feeders (MTL) for those wildcard spots. They cannot no-show these games.

So far this season: 2-5-1 and losing by two tonight.

He can’t.  
 

He's not going to be in charge in April.  
 

Any decisions that will impact this team long term can no longer be made by him.  
 

He can tweak.  But he cannot be allowed to do anything significant.  
 

I've seen enough.  They had a chance this week to show they’ve turned a corner and are going to get 1 out of 6 points.

I'm still skeptical his job is actually at risk.  Heck, even if there is a change, he may end up getting a promotion

I think Lindy is here to be GM after Adams is canned in mid January.  Lindy will have had 8 plus months to evaluate.
