The big knock against Power is that he doesn't use his size in a physical way. But he uses the wingspan defensively and is getting better positionally. Nick Lidstrom was never very physical; he was always just in the right spot. He didn't make the big hits or the amazing plays because he didn't have to. I kind of see Power's game evolving that way. He doesn't make the highlight reel play, he just makes the good play. When he misses the play, a lot of the time it's because he got caught out of position, and he's getting better in that respect. Flashsabre Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago (edited) SJ is going nowhere. Granlund is having a great season with 24 points already without a ton of support, after having a very good season last year. 32 years old, ufa after season. He could fit as 2nd line centre and move Cozens to wing or play LW with Tage and Tuch and reunite JJ Cozens Quinn. Interesting name to look at if rumors are true Sabres are calling around for a top 6 player. Edited 3 hours ago by Flashsabre 1 Quote

I think they tried a game (or part of a game) with Zucker along with Cozens and Quinn. I like the idea, but I don't think it was successful that game. Quote

He needs to use his body more in corners and behind the net to protect the puck... he did better in this game... but too often he is moved off the puck... yes great stick... he doesnt need to hit guys but when forecheck is up on him he needs to better use his strength and dare power to work through those situations...
