Ottawa says no.

I'm not saying its not a package that has potential upside. If Cozens gets hot and Quiin turns into what most on this forum that he would be just 2 months ago, it would be a good deal for Ottawa.  So why does Ottawa say no?  They are likely to get a much better package (with a guy/guys who are ACTUALLY producing now and aren't 'projects) from someone else.

I'm not sure there is a new rumor that he 'wants out'.   As far as a trade wanting him, I think that rumor came form last season, and I'm pretty sure that was a lot more 'smoke' and not as much 'fire' anyway.

To be fair, Cozens has scored 30 goals on what was projected to be a team friendly contract, Quinn is an Ottawa kid who still has a bright future, and a third piece may be fair…but it won’t be just Rosen lol

They may take a prospect like Rosen + a first rounder.  That’s four good pieces.

Marc Methot put a post out on X about the possibility of an Ottawa core piece possibly being moved if the beatings continue in Ottawa.

Who knows, but I can't see them moving Tkachuk unless the piece(s) coming back are cornerstone.

would you do that deal for Brady?

 There are certain people clamouring for Brady but to get Ottawa to trade their captain in division it would hurt. And I don’t know if those pieces would entice them.

Yes. All of them have high ceilings and offer a promising future core. For the Sabres they all suck right now except Kulich.
