Dan said it was Kulich but it was actually Jokiharju. #10 not #20 I'm a big Kulich guy l, so wanted to set the record straight. No one out-muscles Kulich ! Yeah I knew it was Joker. Quote

If he asserts himself like that more often…he’s got all the tools. Shot accuracy could be tightened up a bit although I think he’s trying for the perfect shot versus actually being inaccurate. 1 Quote

Gut check. They earned those two points more than they deserved them. Build on this, please. Edited Saturday at 05:51 AM by ExWNYer 1 Quote

thewookie1 Posted Saturday at 05:45 AM Report Posted Saturday at 05:45 AM Zellweger tried the aggressive play and got plowed over by Tuch. Tuch made a great play on the rebound after Gibson robbed Power and Kulich cashed in the change. 1 minute ago, JoeSchmoe said: I think it was Joe DiBiasi that said Tuch had the best stick in the league. I don't watch enough games outside of the Sabres to know for sure, but he's gotta be one of the best. I'd say he's at minimum Top 5 in the league and I watch a good deal of hockey. What allows him to be so effective is that he can get away with some degree of hooks and grabs because he always is moving his feet as well as keen hand eye coordination. He's a legit menace in takeaways. Zucker has again shown he has a bit left in the tank 🙂 Quote

I thought it was a pretty even game for the most part. Anaheim had the better play early, Sabres started playing better towards the end of the second and into the third. Good teams find ways to win when they aren't at their best...we might be trending in that direction. 2 Quote

Flashsabre Posted Saturday at 05:48 AM Report Posted Saturday at 05:48 AM Big win in a game they would absolutely collapse last year. hats off to Clifton and Benson, team showing team toughness. Liked Krebs a lot tonight. Zucker has been a great pickup so far. Lindy has them playing a lot better defensively. Overall the structure is greatly improved. UPL is a number 1. Power really coming on of late. I really like the idea of one or two of Dahlin, Byram and Power being on the ice most of the night. No letdown tomorrow. Got to sweep the trip. Pens lost tonight. 8 2 Quote
