With the injuries they have, I would prefer they move Zucker and/or McLeod up in the line-up and recall Murray and Rousek to fill 4th line roles. 

Every game that Kulich plays in the NHL has shown he is not yet ready to be an NHL player. His value as a prospect is diminished from what it would be if he were on pace to score 40 in the AHL. I suspect Rosen will be the same. 

We are adding these two youngsters to a roster that is already the youngest in the league. Who will Kulich and Rosen play with who will give them optimum opportunity for success?  There is no longer any logic to this.

I completely disagree.  His prospect is far from diminished and he proved that he can play and produce in the NHL right now.  Does he need more polish? Sure, but who doesn't at 20?

Not a single prospect has ever had their career ruined by playing too many games in the AHL.

I guess I am speculating on whether his prospect status is or will be diminished by his failing to produce offensively at the NHL level. In my view his status as a tradeable asset in a deal for the sort of player Adams is reportedly looking for, would be greater if he were dominating the AHL than it is with him being a struggling NHLer.  I acknowledge, though, that different GM's may have differing views on this. 

As far as him proving he can play in the NHL, I disagree.  Kulich was not drafted to be a middle-six player who "holds his own". He has been good but not dominant at the AHL level.   He was drafted to be a goal scorer and point producer.  I think he can be the NHL player he was drafted to be (I'm not sown on him), but he is nowhere near to being that player yet.

Hold on..... if he is up, then who else is not playing? I hope he is not just up here to not play. If that's the case, he is better off in Rochester

Well, hopefully Rosén has learned and gotten stronger since last season's debut. 7 games of... invisibility?... were normal for most kids.

If TNT is out and Rosén suits up, he'll skate more than 10 minutes and possibly even get some PP time. Last season he skated under 10 minutes in 5 of his 7 games.

I think Rosen as an NHL'er is more of a 3rd,4th line guy.  Kulich has the potential if all things go correctly to be a top 2 liner. Rosen, while not a big, physical bruiser, I think plays a 'smarter' game. 

If anyone wants him to be a 20-30 goal scorer, I don't think that is how he gets to the NHL. I think what he may end up being, if he turns into an NHL guy, is a 10-15 goal, 30-40 point potential guy that plays a hell of a defensive game (positionally). Maybe a different look/style on the ice, but end result, I think Rosen's ceiling for results is something like Hecht was 2 decades ago.
