Stoner Posted November 17 Report Posted November 17 (edited) It's the first home game after the West Coast trip. They have three days off before the game. Well, will he? Edited November 17 by Stoner 1 Quote
DarthEbriate Posted November 17 Report Posted November 17 Probably still the GM on (U.S.) Thanksgiving 2026 at this rate. 5 Quote
inkman Posted November 17 Report Posted November 17 Is there any indication his job is in jeopardy other than mouse potato hysteria? 3 Quote
Archie Lee Posted November 17 Report Posted November 17 Pegula has made more rash decisions, to be sure. I see no evidence though, that Adams is in any jeopardy of losing his job. 1 Quote
WhenWillItEnd66 Posted November 17 Report Posted November 17 Not being fired ever... he is TP best friend Quote

Stoner Posted November 17 Author Report Posted November 17 Some things have to go wrong (three losses out west, probably one of them in galling fashion) and some right: Terry has to be fed up with it and have someone good waiting in the wings. I don't see him promoting from within. Very, very unlikely but everything is plattered up for it, including days off before the first game back (hockey law requires me to say that first game back is tough!). Quote
Scottysabres Posted November 17 Report Posted November 17 He's going to finish out the season to be sure. Take a look at the recent insiders saying he's looking for a trade, a big trade. If there's traction in that, and I see no reason why there wouldn't be, he's not going anywhere, at least this season. Terry will most likely let this play out. 1 Quote
Demoted Posted November 17 Report Posted November 17 I think Terry has forgotten about the Sabres TBH. 1 Quote
Kristian Posted November 17 Report Posted November 17 Uhm, how about “of course”? He’s Pegulas handpuppet, best GM we ever had, in the eyes of our clueless owner. He isn’t going anywhere. 49 minutes ago, Stoner said: Some things have to go wrong (three losses out west, probably one of them in galling fashion) and some right: Terry has to be fed up with it and have someone good waiting in the wings. Well that would be even more troubling because as I understand it he sits in on many, if not all, of the meetings with management. I would suspect his attitude post Eichel has been "I'm not spending on them until they start winning". Which of course contributes to them still losing. Quote
GoPuckYourself Posted November 17 Report Posted November 17 I don’t think we’ll depart with KA in season unless we have no shot of playoffs. If we miss again I think he’s gone for sure. 2 Quote
bunomatic Posted November 17 Report Posted November 17 I voted no but its mostly wishful thinking. He has yet to have a successful season and we’re in what, the 5th ? Successful to me is making the playoffs and possibly winning a round. Is that too much to ask ? We have yet to go into a season intent on winning. That includes this season. 1 Quote
mjd1001 Posted November 17 Report Posted November 17 Pegula won't fire Adams until he finds someone else who will take order from him, let Terry play 'gm behind the curtain' and take the blame when things go wrong. Quote

Mr Peabody Posted November 18 Report Posted November 18 I read of the 4 major sports, hockey gets the highest % of its total revenue from butts in seats. Somewhere around 45%. That doesn’t bode well for KA. It’s not just wins and losses; it’s the style of play as well that doesn’t interest fans. Quote
SABRES 0311 Posted November 18 Report Posted November 18 I think he gets until at least Christmas. 1 Quote
Goldseatsaud Posted November 18 Report Posted November 18 It’s tough to win in the nhl here it comes! Quote

If it were only style, then KA's credo of "wants to be here" wouldn't exist. Instead, you'd keep the offensive firepower that is so hard to attain in this league. The players that bring in the casual fan or the person whose kids love to watch them; the players who make you stand up when they get the puck (Eichel), or elevate their average linemates (Reinhart), or are super inconsistent, but when they're on, they can be really on and entertaining (Skinner), or great on the rush from the back (Montour). Indabuff Posted November 19 Report Posted November 19 Yes, unfortunately. I really can't stand seeing his mug anymore. Quote
Indabuff Posted November 19 Report Posted November 19 And I would likely gamble a toe that posters on here could brainstorm and do a better job than he has done. I'm just not sure any other team would take a GM's name like Claude Balls seriously. Miss ya bro. Quote
Night Train Posted November 19 Report Posted November 19 What is this based on ? Message board scuttle ? DId KA forget to pick up the dry cleaning ? Quote
