I wasn't trying to be snarky, I genuinely found it interesting. For all I know they are right. I think you're in agreement with me when I say I like the concept of uncovering fraud, waste and abuse, I'm not a fan of how they are going about it and question the legality of it, and I'd like to see proof of what DOGE claims to be finding.

We are in agreement. I think waste is a good thing to locate, I am fairly certain that isn't what DOGE is doing. We won't know fully for several months and maybe not until next year. The consequences of this will have effects that are still not felt.
LGR4GM Posted Tuesday at 08:45 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 08:45 PM Every, single alarm in my brain is firing when I listen to someone like Miller. He get's emotionally angry when questioned about the simplest of things here. https://www.cnn.com/2025/02/18/politics/video/doge-leader-elon-musk-stephen-miller-trump-white-house-digvid There's more to this interview but I can't find it its entirety. Miller gets physically angry when questioned about DOGE and goes on a tirade. I apologize for not having the interview in its entirety.

Not a fan of how they’re doing it? I find that hard to believe when you post unsubstantiated report after unsubstantiated report you can find. Everyone is in favor of uncovering waste and fraud, but that is nothing new in the least, especially to those in these organizations who’ve been monitoring these programs since their inception. Where was Trump’s great concern about this when he was elected the first time? What’s all of a sudden different this time around? Those are rhetorical questions btw, as we all know what’s different this time around.

Actually, every link I've posted regarding DOGE and Musk I copy from PPP on TBD. they have posters from both sides that snipe at each other all day and it entertains me while I'm sitting on the toilet. Just because I don't share your infantile view that anyone who voted for the orange man is a fascist and traitor to their country doesn't make me a Trump supporter.

I don’t think anyone who voted for the orange man is a fascist and traitor. Far from it. But I do think anyone who voted for the orange man did vote for a fascist and traitor. Can you see the difference? I know all about the cess pool that is the PPP forum over at TBD. Whether you’re a Trump supporter or not, it seems from your plentiful posts on the subject that you’re a fan of the work DOGE is doing. If that’s wrong, then I’m wrong but you are not my enemy, regardless. Edited Tuesday at 09:56 PM by K-9
LGR4GM Posted Wednesday at 09:23 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 09:23 PM Donald Trump backs House Republicans budget plan to cut 880 billion from Medicaid and 230 billions from SNAP in order to pay for a massive tax cut to the top 10%. It also has a big raise to the defense budget and curiously for missile defense which I will bet money, is in part earmarked for Elon Musk's Space X company. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congress/trump-endorses-house-gop-budget-bill-swipe-senate-plan-rcna192791
K-9 Posted yesterday at 12:23 AM Report Posted yesterday at 12:23 AM General Kellogg is an actual adult in the room who actually understands the situation. It’s beyond baffling how much his comments differed from Trump’s ignorant, buffoonish remarks the last several days; a complete 180 in fact. There may be hope after all.

We have all heard and read what Trump has said about mineral rights in Ukraine and what he wants. Quote Last week, the treasury secretary, Scott Bessent, presented Zelenskyy with the draft proposal for that plan, with Ukraine providing approximately $500bn worth of rare earth elements to the US. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/feb/21/trump-zelensky-ukraine-rare-earth-minerals Edited 20 hours ago by LGR4GM
LGR4GM Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago Meanwhile, here's Steve Bannon doing a Nazi Salute at the CPAC convention. As no one tossed him out, the CPAC convention can now be considered a Nazi convention. also at CPAC there are multiple banners depicting Trump as a Roman Emperor and talking about his 3rd term. You know who else really liked to use Roman iconography? The Nazis. I'm sure that is just a coincidence right?
