I forgot about him and Hathaway but yes, Cozens was awful tonight as was Quinn as was Byram as was Power.

Lot of guys stunk the joint up, but I'm baffled why Quinn continues to play. He's done nothing all year besides drink invisibility potion before almost every game.

He is playing because Tage and Greenway are out.  They had to call up Kulich just to get 12 forwards.

That's fair. But let's be honest, an AHL JAG wouldn't be much worse than him right now. Let Rousek, Rosen, Murray, or Ostland have a couple of games. There's obviously something going on in his head because he is a really bad hockey player right now and we've seen him be much, much better.

Quinn and Cozens so far this year...2 guys that I think most thought of would give you 20+ goals and decent hopes for 30.  At least 50+ goals between them was a decent expectation going into the season....

Between both of them combined:  35 games played. 4 goals (one being an empty netter) 78 shots.  That is a 5.1% shooting percentage.  -13.

As of this morning, 8th place in the conference is still only .500 in terms of point percentage.

Sabres are at .472.  A win last night WOULD have put them at .527 (in sole possession of a playoff spot)

They are only 1 point back. After last nights game if feels a lot worse than that. They need Tage and UPL back healthy.

That was one ugly, lopsided, trash bag game. 

I think the bigger issue creeping in, is that this team is missing IT. Every year they fall apart in key moments. Losing to NYI or FLA the year that we could have made the playoffs, or about to creep to NHL. 500 and boom, a real stinker. 

Whatever make up/mix of guys we have here, simply aren't good enough to win with. If we get really lucky we may squeak into the dance, but we'd be swept straight away. We don't have the toughness or the Moxy to do anything once we're there, hell Thompson is always broken, and we see what this team looks like Sans Tage. 

I'm very much past any real optimism for this team for this season. Please hire a real GM and get Terry another hobby that keeps him busy and his fingerprints off this team.

I don’t have that expectation.  Never did.  

His ceiling is 25 goals and 50 points with solid two way play and 2nd line PP.   He is not an NHL All Star, and not even close to a team designee to attend an All Star game.

When this is 2/3 of your second line this is not playoff caliber.
