Thompson, UPL, and Greenway are missed but this is a completely terrible showing.  No leadership.  Makes me think the real leaders are the ones injured.  
 

This is the 18th game.  They remain on the lower boundary of a fringe team.

It was a penalty on one of our more consistently engaged forwards. If someone did that to a Sabre after a goal this board would be up in arms and rightfully so.

It didn’t send a message or motivate the team to do anything meaningful.

Nah, the Sabres have lost a lot and the Bills have won a lot over the last 7 years.

The Sabres, thanks to their relentless on-going ineptitude, have little impact on anything or anyone.

Games like this are an indictment of leadership. I'm sorry, Rasmus Dahlin is a fine and talented player, but I have a sneaking suspicion he isn't much of a locker room leader.

This game just reinforces that the only two potential difference makers on this team seem to be Tage and UPL... And that's when UPL isn't having a bad game. 

Levi isn't ready. It's not just tonight's game but he hasn't made many good saves all year.

I'm trying to hold on to the hope that Cozens is just very streaky, but he doesn't seem to be any kind of a difference maker at all for what he's getting paid. It's hard to comprehend how him and Tage could be getting paid basically the same thing.
