Pimlach Posted Saturday at 10:10 PM Report Posted Saturday at 10:10 PM 5 hours ago, Stoner said: For those who adhere to the Bowmanian scheme of 10 game segments: The Sabres pulled nine points in the first segment. Not nearly enough. Twelve would do. They are 4-3 in the second segment. Three more wins would give them the most points in a segment since 22-23 and put them a relief pitcher's ***** hair below a playoff pace (94 ish points when you probably need 96 ish to be safe). Three losses and it's a disaster (69ish point pace). This team has struggled the last calendar year plus a month to get out of its comfort zone. Segment totals: 10, 10, 7, 11, 10, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8*. This is a delicate point in the journey back to Stanleyland. Bowmanian. I do like that one. 1 1 1 Quote
PerreaultForever Posted Saturday at 10:24 PM Report Posted Saturday at 10:24 PM I've seen Philly a few times this year and they are not very good, but Michkov is. The PK and PP have to be better or they might give us trouble. We can beat them with speed but if we stand still and let them play physical things can fall apart fast as they counter quickly. Which goalie we get matters. Ersson can be very good and Fedotov is really really bad. Time for Cozens to stare down his demon. 1 Quote
Night Train Posted Saturday at 10:25 PM Report Posted Saturday at 10:25 PM Crap. 2 of our very best players out. Get well. I won't get too upset with a loss. West Coast trip next and we need a healthy lineup for that. Quote
