GIPHY - probably going away

FYI, a year ago GIPHY told us that the free option was ending. Given that they want $9000 a year for a subscription I’m gonna politely pass on that. Don’t be surprised if you login one day with your email address 🙂 and find out it’s not there.

i’ll try and see if there are any workarounds when the day comes, but in the meantime just know that we are probably on borrowed time here.

If only there was a workaround, like going to the giphy site, and copying the url to paste in here....

A little less convenient and keeping one extra browser tab open, but workable.

Nope, gifs are not going away even if the giphy plug-in does.
