The Sabres fan base is dead and probably beyond resuscitation.  
 

I don't think even the playoffs & Cup contention brings the city back 

Have Terry sell the team and move to a new location 

In 10 years or so you can think of brining an expansion team back to the area

AHL expansion team, maybe. The NHL will never  come back if we lose the Sabres.

We are Hartford. Great fan base for the Whalers. But no replacement franchise. Not even a consideration.
