GoPuckYourself Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago I'm not going to lie, i was all set to go scorched earth on the Sabres again. Some bad teams would have caved from that terrible Goalie interference call but they fought and fought and fought, it wasn't pretty at all and the captain came through in the end. Those are the ugly games you have to win if you want to make it to the playoffs. 3 4 1 2 Quote

... Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago I think they actually played with heated emotion for the last part of the third and into OT. 1 Quote
Sidc3000 Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago I give the Sabres credit. Last year they would have been crushed by that shi++y call and collapsed. 3 2 Quote
HumanSlinky39 Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago That was definitely not "same old Sabres." Nice, gritty comeback to get the W. Keep going... 3 3 Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago On that post game interview, Dahlin doesn't speak Bucci. 🤪 Quote
Pimlach Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago The Sabres won a tough one, overcame a disallowed goal. ESPN had favorable coverage about the direction of the team. Dahlin looked good again today. Levi kept the GAA at 3. Tuch got back on the scoresheet. McLeod continues to play well. Good night of hockey for me. I enjoyed two Single Malts, generous double pours, in a nice crystal tumbler and one tiny rock. 2 1 Quote

PerreaultForever Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Pretty terrible hockey game until suddenly Cozens decided to become a man and showed us what he's capable of if he chooses to apply himself. The goal was waived off (don't agree with it but I have seen goals waived off for even less this year so it's a thing, not a good one) but they took over at that point and were eventually rewarded. So there are players here that can do it, when they want to. Now how do we get them to be that every night and every minute??? Quinn is still a waste of space. Win's a win. 1 1 Quote

Derrico Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago That was the best (third) period I’ve seen out of Cozens in a very long time. He needs to bring that more often. 3 1 Quote
Flashsabre Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago McLeod has been a very good pickup. He looks like a guy who can raise his game to fill in at 1C for short stints when they need it. Leafs got screwed on a no goal call last night but persevered to tie it and win it in OT. Nice to see the Sabres do the same tonight. November always seems to be the month that they collapse. If they can make it through even this year and get healthy let’s see what they can do. Boston and Pitt seem to be falling so there is an opportunity if they can seize it. 6 Quote

There seems to be signs of life from Cozen and to a lesser degree, Quinn. This team desperately needs them to be what we have seen glimpses of what they can be. 1 Quote
