Now who would start their second kick at the can by hiring unqualified, loyalist toadies? Can't think of anyone who would do such a thing. That type of thing would really trump the idea of hiring and finding the best ppl. Pegula really needs to up his game. Edited November 15 by LGR4GM 1 Quote
PerreaultForever Posted Friday at 10:50 PM Report Posted Friday at 10:50 PM People on twitter keep talking about Nyquist to the Sabres. Seems like the kind of guy KA would go after. I just want someone added so that Quinn gets pushed out of the lineup and has to earn his way back in. Quote

SABRES 0311 Posted Saturday at 03:16 AM Report Posted Saturday at 03:16 AM (edited) Bye Owen. Our first and second lines look forward to future odd man rushes. Our third and fourth lines look forward to owning the crease, like everyone else. Edited Saturday at 03:17 AM by SABRES 0311 Quote

DarthEbriate Posted Saturday at 02:43 PM Report Posted Saturday at 02:43 PM It's not really in the GM's purview, but what if we made the scoreboard bigger and even more intimidating for opposing players. Quote

Not super high on their forward options. 10 hours ago, Kristian said: Ryan O’Reilley lost his love for hockey in Nashville. Do you think he would find it again in Buffalo?😂 Joking aside, ROR would fit the club to a tee, 2nd line centre that can be a playmaker, FOs, PK, move Cozens to wing. Won’t happen with his exit from here and Pegula but that profile is what they need. Edited Saturday at 05:02 PM by Flashsabre Quote

Pretty sure it was more his entrance onto the scene, more specifically his entrance into Timmy Ho's, that soured that relationship from ownership's perspective. 2 Quote

Must have gone back to the locker room. Ray: No, Dan, his uniform is still on the bench. He appears to have been vaporized. <mug to camera> Ray: This is how we win. ------ Pettersen would be fine, but is yet another LHD who is used to playing the left side with Karlsson. Nyqvist would be OK, although I'm always wondering about him and why he can't stick with any team more than 1.5 seasons. 1 Quote

GoPuckYourself Posted Saturday at 11:58 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:58 PM Go get Brock Nelson from the Islanders and Codi Ceci from the Sharks, 2 excellent defensive additions who could help this team immensley imo. Nelson would be a solid 2nd line C or W but preferably C and move Cozens to wing. Get rid of Jokiharju as part of the Nelson deal if they want him, Ceci shouldn't be all that expensive. Quote

LabattBlue Posted Sunday at 03:30 PM Report Posted Sunday at 03:30 PM Adams and his puppet master Pegula don’t have the balls to pull off a big trade, and even if they did, they would get fleeced. Quote

I think I’d feel pretty safe greenlighting Adams to make more prospects-for-players moves. A) McLeod trade looks swell and B) We don’t need prospects. Fledgling players aren’t going to help this franchise Quote
