LGR4GM Posted 21 hours ago Report Posted 21 hours ago Ruff said he will be out long term but his injury does not require surgery so should return this season. This is basically every year for this guy and we can call him what he is, injury prone. 2 Quote

Muel was just standing there and the next thing he knows, he’s spun down and out for weeks. It might be bad luck, but, he’s eligible for the 1/3 buyout due to age and I can see it happen this offseason. He’s just not available enough. Quote
Weave Posted 21 hours ago Report Posted 21 hours ago Tinfoil hat time. Mule is giving me Zach Bogozian vibes. I distinctly remember there were unsubstantiated rumors that Mule was being advised to not sign with Buffalo. I seem to recall it was Ulf giving him that advice. I dunno. Just a gut feeling here. 4 Quote

Pimlach Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago Just thinking back to the promise he showed. 6'4" and 227 lbs but just not durable. His availability for the past 2 seasons plus this one is 61%. He was probably playing injured for a lot of those games. 1 Quote

If I was his Dad I would not have wanted him to sign with Buffalo either, especially at that time with yet another regime change in process. 1 Quote
That Aud Smell Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago Holy hell. Btw, when he was in the lineup this year, he was ... not great? Sorta bad? That's my sense of things, anyway. 1 1 Quote
DarthEbriate Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago (edited) <sigh> Well, maybe they could put him on LTIR to free up some of that precious cap space, then trade for a durable defensive RHD on a somewhat-largish contract, and then have Muel magically ready to come back when they reach the playoffs. Uncle. Regardless, my working theory is Bogosian wasn’t hurt all that time. He was “hurt “ riding out his contract/trying to get traded. And the vibe with Mule seems similar to me. This time, he’s benched for 2 games and gets injured on an innocuous play his first game back? My radar is pinging. 3 2 Quote

PerreaultForever Posted 17 hours ago Report Posted 17 hours ago Should have traded him to Philly. How he played this year was one of the question marks for how this season would go so not good. D is thin now to say the least. 1 Quote

Derrico Posted 17 hours ago Report Posted 17 hours ago I was worried it would be TNT out long term so I’ll take this trade. 1 Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted 17 hours ago Report Posted 17 hours ago So Adams gave us a poor Dman made of silt. No true 2nd line center A very regressed Quinn and Cozens, one on a very bloated contract. A captain that takes maybe the dumbest penalties in the sport in crucial times. A 3 headed "monster" at goalie only to have one of them poached leaving the following 2, to average very Meh numbers. And 1 too many Matt Ellis behind the bench. Wowwwww 1 Quote

Broken Ankles Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago I submit the revocation of the nickname “Muel”. A mule is a Beast of burden. He is neither. His name shall be Elijah/Mr. Glass. 4 Quote

ASlugAbove Posted 12 hours ago Report Posted 12 hours ago Questionable signing from day one. Didn’t like it. Not the big body sound dman Adams thought he had. And he plays about 50% of the games. Also speaks at a third grade level in interviews lol. Not sure what we do with him. Quote
Cranky old man Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago The sabres need to get him heathy, play him a teeny tiny bit and trade him. Let his potential tease the life out of some other club. Even if it’s its little more than a salary dump, he has to go. The money we are wasting on him is needed for players who contribute throughout the year. Quote
