nfreeman Posted Monday at 04:58 PM Report Posted Monday at 04:58 PM Come on Sabres. Give those fans a good show, score early and often, keep developing the right focus and determination, play with passion, deliver your longest winning streak in 2 years and get to DeLuca .500. It's right there for you. Quote

Also, do they not care about television viewers (I’m open to the possibility that they don’t) While the in arena attendance might be swell, I have to imagine they only get a fraction of tv viewers today. The NHL is just weird. It is Veterans Day. They have things planned to salute veterans. That is a good thing considering we live in a country where people think Memorial Day is the beginning of summer and most don't even know the difference between Memorial Day and Veterans Day. What is wrong with having a game where people can take veterans in their family to a game and then go out to dinner afterwards anyway? It is a good thing. The matinee game on a national holiday actually means TV ratings will be way up. They are the only sports team playing and many people are at home to watch it. Quote

Because I’m a selfish, short sighted prick and want everything catered to me. oh and TTFO on national holiday. Why am I working on this “national holiday”. Only 1 out of 5 people have the day off!! 1 Quote

Lots of retirees, students, government workers, banking, wall street, etc are off today. Quote

If I understand the concept of Muel - punishing stay at home - he's just not showing it nor has he since 2 seasons ago. Joker on the other hand is quiet and complimentary, fast enough, smart enough, get the puck off the opponents stick and over to your more talented partner / up the ice. I have never seen the “punishing” part of his game. He can be a solid defensive defenseman if he stays healthy and cleans up his game. He can be lax at times and apparently Lindy does not like lax. 1 Quote

You do realize the job participation rate in the US is 62%. When you factor in the people that are off today because of the holiday, more than half of adults are not working today. Not to mention the students, shift workers, etc. The majority of people living in the US are not working today. Quote
Pimlach Posted Monday at 05:41 PM Report Posted Monday at 05:41 PM Late hit. Elbow to Bensons head. No call. Quote
Idemo Buffalo Posted Monday at 05:45 PM Report Posted Monday at 05:45 PM Not ideal, but good test to see how the Sabres play coming from behind. Quote
